Modern muggle Au!! Remus and Sirius are 19 and in college

"Come on James, it'll be fun. Maybe you'll meet a girl!" James pulled his arm back "I don't need to meet a girl. I have a date with lily this weekend" Sirius laughed and layed down on the couch "sure you do" James nodded "really do this time" Sirius sat up "wait really?like actually? Congrats mate!" James smiled "okay now go do that prank of yours while the professor is out" Sirius clapped his hands and got up running out of the dorm with his bag in hand.
Sirius quickly pulled out the spray and glitter "this is gonna be so fucking funny..." he quickly sprayed the door with the glue spray, and poured the pink glitter over it, giggling as it stuck to the door, he poured even more over letting out a laugh as the door became covered in shining pink glitter, but soon he heard the clacking of heals and and dropped the glitter and spray can, bolting down the hall into the very last room paying no attention to the sign on the door, slamming it shut being him
"Oh hi! Who are you?" Sirius looked up to see a guy, and a group of people surrounding him, and he finally read the sign
Gay support group. Fuck.
"What are your pronouns and sexuality?"
Sirius looked around, who are these guys gonna tell? He might as well be honest
"Oh um, he/him, and I'm questioning." The guy smiled at him reassuringly "I'm Remus, and this is the group" Sirius smiled
"Do you wanna talk to the group?" Sirius began to sweat "oh well um, I've been questioning my sexuality a lot recently because I've been more attracted to men recently and I'm just really confused, and I don't think I can talk to my friends about it, just feel like they wouldn't understand" the group nodded and Remus spoke up "we all know what it's like to be questioning, and how hard it is. I was really young when I slept with another guy, probably like 13, and it really messed me up, I was so confident in liking men that i didn't give myself any wiggle room on who I could be attracted to, and I happy that you haven't had that, not that this isn't any worse, I'm just saying that experiences are different for everyone and equally as hard.I'll give you my number after class and you can text me if you ever need anything. " Remus smiled at Sirius once more "I think our times up for today, same place next week" Sirius got up and picked up his bag, heading for the door, but resumes took his arm, handing him a piece of paper with a number on it "text me if you need anything" Sirius felt oddly okay with the thought of that "yeah, thanks." And with that he left, heading back to his dorm, with a odd smile on his face. He made sure to shut the door softly, because James always said the neighbors would hear. James was sitting on his bed "what's the love sick smile for,meet a girl?" Sirius shook his head "nah, the prank just went well." James smiled at him "well come on, there's a new restaurant down the street and I want to check it out, wanna come?" Sirius took his shoes off "yeah just let me take a shower first, long day" James nodded "okay just be ready in a hour" Sirius hummed in response and headed to the bathroom.

Sirius got out of the shower, pulling on some sweats and walking out to the hall where he saw James and the dean fighting. Oh no. "Hey! What's going on!"
"Mr.black, I need to talk to you about a prank that has been pulled." And just then Remus walked by
"He was with me in group today. You can as the other kids too if you want, swear on it." The dean thought for a minute but walked away, James was gone by now
"I'm not covering for you again, I can't believe you went to not get caught." Remus went to walk away but Sirius grabbed his arm "it was true. All of it. I'm confused and it's scary. I'm coming next week." Remus' face softened "I'll see you then." Sirius let out a sigh of relief and went back into the dorm. James was pissed.
"How did you get caught??I told you to come back as soon as you were done!" And for some reason in was just too much. And his breathing started to shallow, and he started to shake. James voice seemed to get more and more muffled as he fumbled around for the stupid piece of paper, typing in the numbers
"Hi?"
"Is anyone there?"
"Yeah.. yeah I need you. It's Sirius. Um can you just come pick me up?"
"Yeah- yeah of course. Who's yelling?"
"It dosnt matter. Just need to get out."
"Yeah. I'll be there in a minute, wait outside for me" Sirius hung up the phone and picked up his bag, slamming the door behind him, finally letting the tears fall.
And then Remus was there "hey..it's okay. Come on I'll take you back to my dorm" Sirius nodded and let Remus guide him down the hall and into his dorm where he quickly shooed out his dorm mate and sat me down on the bed.
"I got you some water"
And srius took it, taking small Sips
"I'm sorry. It hadn't been bad in a while. Maybe it's the stress." Remus nodded
"It's okay, I'm just worried." Sirius shook his head
"I'll be fine, I just needed a little break. He dosnt yell like that all the time, never actually. Just caught me off guard and triggered my ptsd." Remus hummed and rubbed Sirius side "what do you have ptsd from?" Sirius almost laughed "my parents. They were abusive. I got disowned when I was 16" they were silent for a while
"You don't deserve that. No one does" and Sirius nodded, mute. "You can stay here for tonight." And then there was a knock on the door and Sirius could hear Remus

"No! Leave! I'm not letting him go until he can atleast form sentences. I don't care if James wants to see him! This is James fault! He's staying, you can go pick up his things."
He could see lily evans on the other side of the door but he didn't feel like talking.
Remus shut the door and walked back over to Sirius flashing him a smile
"Take a nap. I'll be here" srius nodded and pulled the blanket over his chest and tried to blink away the tears as Remus comfortingly rubbed his sides
"Can you lay with me? I don't want to be alone" Remus didn't say Anything just layed down and pulled Sirius closer to his chest
"I got you, just take a nap."
And Sirius did. Because he was confused and embarrassed and scared and just wanted a break. And the screaming and the questioning and the flashback and the anxiety and the schoolwork was so so tiring.
"Sirius...Sirius wake up"
Sirius groaned and rolled over holding the blanket closer earning a chuckle from Remus
"Come on, lily dropped off your clothes, wanna get changed?" I opened my eyes and sat up rubbing my eyes. Remus handed me a bag of clothes and other stuff. "I'll turn around, don't worry" srius got up and stretched
"I'm not worried about that" Sirius pulled on a shirt, and then striped out of his sweats and into a new pair, sitting back onto the bed
"Maybe I'm just really horny. I'm attracted to everyone, guys, girls,nonbinary. It's really confusing. Or maybe I'm just attracted to women and confused." Remus sat down next to Sirius
"Sexuality isn't important. I don't label mine, I like who I like. I fuck who I want. I wouldn't say this in group but sexuality and gender is a construct." Sirius let out a big sight "thank you for being there for me" Remus just smiled At him "it's almost dinner, wanna go out?" Sirius straighten his back "yeah, let's go." Remus got up and pulled on his shoes handing Sirius his own
"We can go the long way so we don't see James" Sirius nodded and followed Remus out of the building and down the street. The town was quite and small, just like always, maybe that's why Sirius liked it so much.
"Sirius?"
"Mhm?"
"I think I'm gonna kiss you."
"I think I'd like that." So Remus did.
