"REMUS! Stop! Okay! Just listen-"
"NO! I'm done. Leave."
"Remus please-"
"No, leave.we're done. "
Sirius Sighed and left with tears steaming down his face. He apparated to James and Lily's house
James was on the couch with baby harry
"Sirius, what's wrong"
"Remus broke up with me. Thinks I've been cheating. James I was gonna propose. I've been taking extra shifts at the stupid coffee shop for a ring. And now I can't even do that. Sirius broke out in sobs and sat down on the couch pulling his hair with his hands
"Oh Sirius. I'm so sorry." James came and sat next to Sirius and put harry in Sirius lap. Sirius smiled down at the baby and harry started to giggle.
Sirius started to cry even more as harry tugged on his hair and smiled up at him
"Hi" he choked out inbetween sobs
Lily came in and took harry and sat down next to them "I'm sorry Sirius. I'll talk to him."
"It's not gonna work. I think he wanted to do this for a long time, i guess this was just the last straw. God I fucked everything up"
Lily looked at James then back at Sirius
"I'm going to talk to him."
She got up and quickly aparated to remus and Sirius flat. Remus was standing in the kitchen staring aimlessly at the wall holding a bottle of whiskey
"Remus! What the hell is wrong with you! He's not cheating!" Remus blinked slowly before looking to lily then back at the bottle and taking a swig
"Remus!"
"I know he did."
Lily grew even more angry and smacked him across the face. Remus wiped the blood from under his nose
"I think it's a bitch from work."
"REMUS! I swear to god if you can't get it through you're head that he didn't cheat! He was going to propose! He's been taking extra shifts to buy a ring. Remus it's a sliver band that has a moon carved in it. He loves you."
Remus looked to lily with tears stinging his eyes "what?"
Lily scoffed "he was going to marry you."
And Remus started to cry, full on sobbing.
"Oh my god lily I ruined my life. I lost the love of my life."
"Remus it's okay,just talk to him-"
"No lils if ruined it."
"No remus. He's with James and harry, he's just upset. He thinks you've been wanting to leave him for months,go to him Remus."
Remus quickly put his bottle down and aparrated to the potters. Sirius was laying on the couch with a pillow over his head, Remus sat down and Sirius didn't move. Remus sighed and put a leg on his leg and pulled the pillow off his face
"Remus leave. You broke up with me."
"Sirius i want you back."
Sirius let out a watery sob "I'm not that easy" Remus reach for Sirius hand but he pulled it away "Sirius please listen to me. Yes."
"What?"
"I said yes. I'm saying yes to you marrying me. Give me the ring, i want to put it on.'
"Remus I'm not marrying you. I was going
To but you really think I'm that bad that I would cheat on you!"
"Sirius im sorry. I had bad day and I was upset and tired. I shouldn't have accused of cheating." Sirius scoffed "Remus if you have a bad day you come home to your boyfriend and use your words like a actual person and I would comfort you, I'd make you a cup of tea and put on a movie, you accuse your boyfriend of cheering."
Remus sighed and looked down "I know. I'm sorry."
"I was so happy when we moved in, and we went shopping for bedsheets and you couldn't decided between green or blue because you said they both complemented my skin tone. And when harry was born I was shaking and you held me in the waiting room and layed your corduroy jacket over me and braided my hair.
Or when we were looking at flats you asked if I liked the mirror length because you wanted to make sure it wouldn't make me self conscious. Remus you were amazing and I just don't get why. What happened to us."
Remus looked at Sirius
"Nothing happened to us-Sirius I would do that all over again, I would do anything for you I just wasn't thinking. I was so upset and confused at work and I wanted to come home and lay down in bed but you weren't there. I felt so abandoned.so hurt. And I'm sorry. It won't happen again."
Sirius didn't respond now, just stared at Remus for a minute
"Come here"
Remus leaned over and layed down next to Sirius "rub my stomach" so Remus reach around and rubbed soft circles on his stomach and rested his head on Sirius' shoulder
"Italy. I want our honeymoon to be in Italy." Remus smiled against Sirius neck
"And I want to actually propose. I'm not giving you the ring yet"
Remus nodded
"I love you, Siri."
"I love you to Rem"
-time skip, 5 years-
Remus was reading his bed while Sirius did something in the kitchen,he could hear his footsteps pacing back and forth and really he was worried "Sirius?" He Yelled. Sirius came in looking more sweaty then usual "come here babe, I wanna cuddle." Sirius softly layed down on the bed next to remus curled into his side. Remus rubbed soft circles on his hip and kissed his head every few minutes
"Are you okay baby? You seem shaken" Sirius nodded and snuggled closer
"Remus I want a baby. And I know we can't do that. I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that oh no-"
"Sirius it's okay."
"But we can't do it. A I want a baby so badly."
"We can get a Surrogate. And we can choose someone who has the same features as us, if you want, they will look like us."
Sirius looked up at Remus and kissed him, because he was so in love.
"I love you remus. So much, and I know I say that a lot, but I mean it. I am in love with you. And i want to spend the rest of my breathing days with you. "
Remus leaned down and placed a lingering kiss on Sirius lips and brushed his sides softly "i love you too, siri"
