Arangement

"So, what's your name?" The man pulled on the sweatshirt given to him, and thanked him for letting him use his shower "I'm Sirius."

Remus had been cheating on his wife with a 19 year old he met at a bar. He was also giving said man money, food, paying his rent every few months, that type of thing. Although he hated the term sugar daddy, that's what he was. He loved Sirius deeply and there was no denying that, he had felt a connection with him almost immediately but the fact that Remus was almost 10 years older then him with a wife and kid was a part that he didn't like to mention to Sirius.

One weekend though, about 8 after he and Sirius started dating, he came home to his wife on the couch, without his son.
"Where's teddy?"
"At my mothers."
"Is there something I'm forgetting?"

Remus felt as so he was about to loose his lunch, or just pass out.

Dora looked like she was on the verge of screaming, and crying
"Why now, why not before. If you wanted to do this all along, what was wrong with 8 months ago."
"I didn't have him. I need him."
"If I told you to stop seeing him right no, would you."
"Don't ask me that."
Remus was crying now, and he felt stupid.

"Nymphadora," Remus pressed quietly, trying to remind her that he hadn't brought Sirius here to be dissected by her. She shook herself out of it and tried to smile it it wasn't affective as Sirius was still staring at his feet. It was a wonder Sirius was here and not crying, they poor boy had been caught off guard when Remus showed up and told him the rundown
"We need to talk. I was okay with the...arrangement." Tonks head snapped "well I wasn't." And Remus was reminded that he did cheat on his wife.
Sirius looked up at her "if you're looking for apology, you aren't getting one, darling."
Tonks looked like she was about to flip the table and thrown a vase at his head
"Sirius dosnt need to say sorry. I already did, it's my fault, not his."
"She's being exceedingly gracious in having this conversation to negotiate a better arrangement."
Sirius looked up at Remus "and what does, nymphadora, want then?"
"Dont call me that!" She hissed, trying to control herself. Sirius threw up his hands "fucking hell! What do I call you then"
"Tonks. You call me tonks, and I won't call you a cheap whore,posting your dick online for a dime." That made Remus blood boil
"Don't say that! Dont ever say anything like that about him!" And Remus turned to Sirius too "and I expect the same from you, Sirius." Sirius nodded "Of course Remus, I wouldn't I-"
"I know Sirius, it's okay." Sirius looked as if he had been hit; and Remus wished he'd just left it at telling off tonks, Sirius didn't deserve this treatment.
"Listen, I'll be here on the weekends, and I'll go to Sirius on the weekdays, I'll try to sleep at home most nights too"
Sirius looked at him and Remus felt like a fool. He couldn't see Sirius week days, he had classes.
"But Remus i-"
"I'll be there it six every day, I promise. And I'll help with your studies, I'll try to sleep over as often as I can. I promise darling. I'm trying to make this work for us all." Sirius fell quiet and nodded.
"Sirius, what's wrong?" Remus could tell something was wrong but Sirius just shook his head. If he opened his mouth he would cry. Remus leaned foward and brushed Sirius hair out of his face "come on, darling. It's okay" Sirius looked up and Remus "why can't I come over during the day, just tell teddy I'm a friend really I want to see you when I can it's just..are you embarrassed?" Remus shocked his head and pulled Sirius into his chest, not caring if tonks was displeased by it. Sirius needed it right now
"It's not that I care if others know so much as I just don't want other people's input while we work things out. I don't want Teddy to feel like he needs to be embarrassed of or for his father. If and when we decide to share our relationship to others in general, it will be strong, a strong sane choice. Where we are all in a place that the opinions and words of others won't matter."
Sirius smiled at that, and Remus was content with that too
"And um, Remus, if I do get to see teddy, just don't say anything about us dating for a while? I think it would freak me out a little"

After a much needed drink and some more talking, they decided that they would tell teddy on the Disney trip they had planned and hopefully he would have a okay reaction.
This could work out.
