i walked up the stairs with a smile on my face, today was sirius' birthday. i reached the door and pulled it open but,sirius jumped up from the bed as another
guy stood up "i- remus." my eyes stung as i tried my hardest to blink away tears and not let them spill over the edge. "remus please-" i only know realized how long i had been standing in front of the bed. second, minutes, maybe. "what the fuck" sirius had his hand over his mouth and was crying "NO! you don't get to cry! you don't get to cry!" sirius stood up and tried to get me to look at him, grabbing at my face, pulling my shoulders "remus-remus please!" everything set in too quickly. everything hurt. a pang of sadness and anger washed over me "don't say my name." i stumbled backwards as my thighs hit the bed frame "don't say my name like that." my face was sticky with tears, i didn't even know i was crying. i was so confused, so broken. another tear fell from my eye and sirius tried to wipe them away, i pushed his arm away " DONT TOUCH ME! DONT TOUCH ME WITH THOSE FUCKING HANDS-" my voice was suddenly quite again. "happy birthday...." my voice trailed off towards the end as i finally gave up. sirius wrapped his arm around my shoulder and for a second i felt okay. "remus..."
"don't say my name."
"don't."
but then i remembered that he was the person i was mad at and shrugged him off me, getting up and slamming the door behind me. i ran down the stairs and out of the common room. i heard someone following but i didn't stop. i didn't stop running until i reached the lake. the footsteps stopped behind me and a figure sat down. they didn't say anything but wrapped there arm around my shoulder and shushed me as i cried. lily. i didn't say anything for a while just let the tears flow.
"why did he do it?" i choked out in between sobs she just held me tighter "i don't know.." she wiped my tears and handed me a potion "sleeping potion, you need some rest." i drank it and let her hold me as i fell asleep.
-back at the common room, sirius pov-
"where is he?" i sat on the couch and picked my nails. "he's with lily." i looked up and tried not to cry "is he okay?"
"why would he be okay? you just fucked another man." i looked down at my lap "and merlin why?" i didn't look up. "i-i don't know." i let some tears fall from my eyes "fuck- i mean sirius you can't just do that kind of shit!"
"i know! i don't know!."
"i mean fuck you're like my brother, my bestfriend. i never want to be mad at you, never want to see you upset. but why the fuck would you do that. i never want to be mad at you but you give me no choice, he's my friend too. i love you."
"but- but james he let me hug him! i still have a chance. just tell me where he is and i can-"
"that's enough sirius. he loves you. that's why he let you hold him. but right now he dosnt like you. give it time, maybe with time. he can heal, and he might heal without you. maybe he can forgive you."
i looked down at my lap
"how long?"
"it was just the once."
james didn't respond just got up "i'm going to see remus. don't follow."
-meanwhile, in the girls dorm-
i could hear james and sirius yelling at eachother as i fell in and out of sleep. there was a knock on the door. lily got up and stepped out. (bold is lily)
"where sirius?"
"crying on the couch."
"why did he do it?"
"said he dosnt remember how it started.
"remus is gonna sleep with me tonight."
"i gave remus a sleeping potion so he's been sleeping on and off"
"was he okay?"
"didn't stop crying. he just kept asking why."
"sirius tried to get me to let him talk to rem."
"that's a bad ideas. i don't think remus can take it"
"what are we gonna do?"
"no clue."
i tried to get out of bed, but i was so tired. i stumbled out and opened the door "where is he?"
"remus just go back to sleep."
"no sleep potions give me nightmares, i can only sleep without nightmares with him. i need him right now."
james sighed and looked at lily
"he's in the common room." i walked past them and down the stairs. he was sitting in the couch with his head in his hands "sirius?" his head shot up and he still up automatically. "come here please." he didnt say anything just walked towards me. i wrapped my hands around his waist. "i'm so tired siri. so tired." i felt his tears through my jumper "i know baby, i know." he rubbed the back of my head. i lead him to the couch and sat him down. i picked the blanket off the chair and took the throw pillows and put them on the floor. i motioned for sirius to lay down. he did so and i wrapped my hands around his waist and took in his sent. "i'm only doing this because i can't sleep without you." he nodded.
"why did you do it."
"i cant remember." i didn't say anything just thought.
"can't remember?"
"i was at breakfast and he came up
to me and gave me juice, all the sudden i was really attracted to him. it just happened." i pulled him closer and flipped his hair so it wasn't over his face. "is that really what happened?"
"i swear."
"was it a love potion?" i whispered, fearing that he would hear.
"i don't know. it would make sense, i don't remember even saying yes, don't remember him putting it in. i don't know."
"do you still have it?"
"it's up stairs. he kept saying to drink."
he got up and came back down with it moments later, i held my wand out and used a counter spell. a milky white substance floated out, i caught it with another cup. i looked at him then we both ran for the stairs "lily! lily! lily!" while sirius called "james! james! james!" they came out of there dorms "are you guys okay?" "it's a love potion! it was in his drink, he gave sirius a drink." lily looked at james "let me see it." i handed the glass to her and she looked at james "it's a love potion. mild could probably only make you fuck a dude once or twice." i looked at sirius and hugged him. i ran my hand through his hair and kissed his forehead.
"i'll let you to alone.we can go to mcgongal tomorrow." i wrapped my arm around sirius' waist and lead him to the boys dorm. i layed down next to sirius and pulled his waist to mine and kissed his neck. "i missed you. i thought you actually did it. oh i missed you so much." he flipped around and kissed me full on the lips. "get some sleep." i nodded and closed my eyes quickly falling asleep.
-next morning-
"remus! remus wake up!" sirius kissed all over my face to wake me up. i groaned and caught his lips in mine "let's go to mcgongal." he smiled and took my hand. "at least let me get dressed" he whined and threw a shirt at me with a pair of jeans.
-time skip-
we sat in the office with mcgongal "so, what brings you two here?"
"well,i was drugged. a love potion."
mcgonagal raised a eyebrow "it was gabe, he gave it to me. made me do some stuff." i held sirius' hand just a little tighter. she looked at us with pitty in her eyes. "i'm so sorry hun. i'll talk to him a soon as possible, you two can take the day off." "what will happen?" she looked at me "i'll do my best." mi thanked her and walked with sirius back to the dorm, but then we saw him. gabe. he walked up to me "sorry about that man, just got a little out of hand. pretty boy aint he?" i would have just ignored him, you know just left it, but then he did something, he smacked sirius' ass.
"the fuck did you just do?" gabe turned around "oh come on, just wanted a piece of his ass." i stepped closer to him and looked him in the eye "don't say another thing about him." he laughed "he tastes so sweet, dosnt he.." gabe looked like he was searching for words before he looked back at me "like honey." i felt my blood boil. "his ass is tight too. maybe i should use a potion more. he's a good fuck."
i couldn't take it anymore. i punched him, right in the nose. "REMUS!" i didn't stop tho. i hit him again. this time i felt a hand on my shoulder and finally pulled away. it was lily, sirius was behind her with shock on his face.
"i'm so sorry siri-"
"no, thank you. he deserved it. deserved every second of it."
