Justin Chapter 28

Jackie got in the passenger seat of my car and Jessie got in the back.

"Where do you guys want to go for the phones?" I asked.

"Surprise us." Jessie said from the back. I decided to take them to AT&T. I took them to the one I always went to because I was friends with one of the employees.

"So what kind of phone do you guys want?" I asked.

"Hmm... I think I want the 5s. It'll be my first 'cool' phone." Jackie said. (Remember this would have been set in 2013.)

"Same. We can match." She said. I pulled up to the parking lot and we all got out. We walked into the store and the AC hit us with a blast. I saw my friend Michael behind the counter. Thankfully, the store was empty. I didn't want to cause any problems for him.

"Hey Michael, what's up?" I said leaning on the counter.

"Nothing much man! Long time no see. Is that her? Your new girl?" He asked nudging me. I nodded.

"Who's the other one? Is that her sister?" He asked.

"How do you know all of this stuff? We told everyone, like yesterday! Word gets around." I said shaking my head.

"Hey Justin! Do you think the gold one looks good?" Jackie asked from across the store.

"Sure!" I said. Jackie and Jessie came up behind me with their choices.

"I would like a gold iPhone 5s please." She said. She looked so excited to be getting an iPhone. It was actually really cute.

"I'd like the silver please!" Jessie said. She was hopping on her toes too.

"Sure thing. You guys want any engravings?" Michael said.

"Um... I don't think so." Jackie said. He disappeared into the back of the store. Then I got an idea.

"Be right back." I said to Jackie and chased after Michael.

"Hey. Jackie wants an engraving she changed her mind." I said.

"Oh okay just write it down." He said passing me some paper and pencil. I wrote down the message. Jackie was going to love this.

"That's a weird thing to put on a phone." Michael said,

"Inside joke." I said smiling. I went back to Jackie and Jessie. Twenty minutes later, Michael came back with the phones. He asked for what plan they wanted and decided to go for unlimited everything.

"Here you guys go! Have a great day!" Michael said. We thanked him and went back out to the car.

"Justin? What the heck is this?" Jackie asked. She was laughing. Jessie asked what it said.

"I'm sorry for hitting you with a door. But you're adorable. -Justin"She read out loud. Jessie laughed.

"That's so cheesy!" She said giggling. Jackie was still laughing.

"You realize everyone is going to think I'm a weirdo with this on my phone." She said.

"So what. It'll be our thing." I said smiling. We decided to get some McDonalds on our way home. While we were getting food, the drive thru lady almost had a heart attack when she saw Justin. He gave her an autograph and took a picture with her. Then we went back home. Apparently, our parents were going to have dinner together tonight so I dropped Jackie and Jessie home and went home. When I got there, Ryan, Chaz, and Alfredo were playing XBOX. I decided to join them and play for a while before everyone had dinner. Honestly, I thought our parents would get along just fine. We were in the middle of a game when Mom came downstairs.

"Justin! Get ready Jackie and her family is coming over. Can you get the little ones dressed? Boys! I need you guys to clean up this mess!" She said. She was going into her pre guest hysterics. I looked around the floor and saw chip bags lying on the floor and a bunch of pop cans.

"All right all right!" I said raising my hands like I was getting arrested. We finished the game and then began to clean up. I found Jazzy and Jackson and dressed them up into some acceptable little kid clothes and then cleaned up my room a bit. I mean this was the first time Jackie was going to come over. I had to make my room somewhat clean. I went downstairs and saw my mom sweeping the floor and yelling at they guys to clean up some more. She always got like this when someone was coming over, but you couldn't tell by just looking at her. She always looked so calm in front of everyone and all of the cameras while I always felt like I would mess up on national television.

"Mom, clam down. Everything looks perfect!" I said hugging her from behind. All of the guys decided to go to my room and hang out for a while until Jackie came over. I was on my computer checking Twitter and Facebook.

"Hey, did you see this? It's Jackie." Chaz said holding up his phone.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Apparently Jackie is one of the nicest new celebrities according to paparazzi. The night after you guys announced your relationship, they all hung around her house for the entire day and she came out and gave them food and drinks." He said reading off of his phone.

"That's really nice. Did you tell her to do that?" Ryan asked from the floor.

"She called me and asked what to do about them but I wasn't sure how she'd gotten rid of them." I said smiling. No one had told her to be nice to them. I mean, everyone usually yelled at them and got mad and then the paps would get great pictures and make rumors, but she turned the tables on them. I think it was impossible to not love Jackie. She was perfect. She had perfect hair, perfect eyes, perfect body...

"Justin! Hey Justin! Are you even listening?" Alfredo said shaking me.

"Hmm oh sorry." I said turning red. All of the guys were laughing.

"I wonder what he was thinking about?" Ryan said laughing.

"Hey you're just jealous you don't have her!" I said yelling and jumping on top of him. We started wrestling and Chaz and Alfredo were rolling around laughing. Then I heard laughing form the doorway. Jackie and Jessie were both filming us and cracking up.

"Hey!" I yelled pointing at them.

"TICKLE FIGHT!" Jackie yelled. She and Jessie threw their phones on my bed and attacked Alfredo and Chaz. In ten minutes, everyone was rolling around and laughing. Eventually Jackie got to me and Jessie was laughing with Alfredo and Ryan tickling her like maniacs.

"Double Team!" Jackie yelled and both of us jumped Alfredo and Ryan. Then we heard laughing from the doorway again.

"What is going on in here?!" My mom said from the door. Jackie's mom was there too. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up. My mom took a picture.

"Do you guys have any idea what you look like?" She asked showing us the picture. We all started laughing again. Jackie's hair was sticking out everywhere and Ryan's shirt was all messed up. My covers were flung everywhere and the floor was covered with my sheets. It looked like a tornado had come through my room.

"Dinner's ready. Everybody downstairs!" My mom commanded. She was trying to look serious, but we could see her trying to press down her smile.

"All right lets go." Jackie said. Her eyes were shining and her smile was breathtaking. She genuinely looked beautiful. She wasn't afraid of messing up her hair or her clothes or worried about what anyone thought. We all got up and brushed off our clothes and Jackie and Jessie fixed their hair. This was probably the first time I'd had complete fun. I wasn't worried about my movie or the tour. I was happy. And only Jackie could make me feel like that.
