I woke up to Justin standing against his window watching me. I blew him a kiss and he pretended to catch it. I texted him that I was going to go shower and freshen up. I waved goodbye and he left and I grabbed some clothes to wear that could get dirty because I wanted to paint my walls and clean up. I realized that my bathroom didn't have anything so I and to haul my box labeled 'bathroom stuff' and dragged it behind me as I trudged to the bathroom. I turned on the the hot water and while I was waiting for it to warm up, I put my favorite shampoo and conditioner on the little ledges int he tub. I loved when stuff fit perfectly, it gave me a sort of satisfaction that everything had a place. I put the rest of the stuff away quickly and hopped in the shower afraid the hot water would run out. Then I realized where I was and realized that it probably wouldn't. I could get used to these little things like standing in the shower for five extra minutes and feel the hot water running down my body or doing dishes or simple chores, but I felt like I didn't want to get used to them. I almost felt guilty with the little pleasures. As soon as my body and hair was clean I jumped out of the shower and got to work rearranging some of the smaller furniture and mopping the floors. I decided to keep all the furniture in the middle of room so that it would be easier to move around later on. After about an hour of cleaning, I felt like the room was actually mine. I had laid out some posters on my bed which I wanted to put up, but I didn't really like the color of the walls in my room. It was like a puke-greenish and made the whole room seem weird. With the furniture in the middle, it would be easier to paint the walls. I decided to call Alfredo and ask him if he wanted to help me pick out colors and paint my room. He said he sure and came to pick me up ten minutes later. I was still in my clean up clothes but I didn't really care. We would probably just go to The Home Depot and look at some swatches of paint and get a couple buckets.

"Let's roll!" He said as soon as I got in the passenger side.

"You look amazing by the way. The huge shirt and sweats really compliment your gorgeous hair! Who did it for you?" He said. I shoved him lightly.

"Shut up! I'm in my clean up clothes." I said laughing.

"Whatever. Don't blame me if the paps mistake you for a homeless person." He said chuckling. I shoved him again.

"Hey careful! I'm driving here!" He said pointing to the road. We showed up to the Depot and ran inside. It was actually a pretty chilly day for L.A. and I wasn't ready for it. We both ran into the store's huge front entrance and I felt the blast of A.C. hit me and I shivered.

"Oh my gosh it's so cold!" I said rubbing my arms.

"Oh here." Alfredo said taking off his jacket and handing it to me.

"Thanks!" I said sliding it on. I instantly felt less like an icicle and more like a human. We headed towards the paint section and began scanning the wall full of paint chips.

"What color do you want?" He asked picking up a bunch of the slips of paper.

"Umm... What about blue? Or purple? There's just so many options..." I said. I picked up a special card.

"What about blackboard paint?" I asked showing him a sample.

"You can write on it! It'll look so cool! It can be an accent wall." I said.

"Oh! Do the other wall this purple! It'll look sick with the light and dark." Alfredo said handing me a color swatch.

"Since when are you such am interior decorator?" I asked looking at the two colors together.

"Hey, I have my secrets." He said shrugging.

"Let's get the paint. I'm so excited!" I said squealing. We asked the lady at the counter for multiple buckets of each type of paint and I gave most of them Alfredo. Before we left, I picked up a bunch of paint brushes and tape as well as some other random painting supplies. We went to the check out counter and Alfredo paid for everything.
