Jackie Chapter 37

I woke up from some random dream to the sound of screaming and ice cold water on my head. I felt like I was drowning and sat up immediately.

"GOOD MORNING!" Alfredo and Chaz yelled jumping on top of my bed.

"Why the fuck would you do that?!" I screamed and threw a wet pillow at Chaz's face. He caught it and threw it back at me.

"Oh my goodness! Watch your profanity!"(get the reference?) Justin yelled from he doorway. I saw him with his phone out.

"Are you filming this?!" I asked. He nodded and I threw my other pillow at him. I decided I had to get out of bed because everything was sopping and the feeling was gross. I squeezed out my shirt and shook out my hair.

"Just wait, I'm going to get you back for this." I said glaring at the guys.

"Ooh I'm so scared!" Chaz said putting his hands up mockingly. I made a face at him and pushed everyone out of my room. There was no point in going back to sleep so I pulled on some black yoga pants and a long sleeve blue t-shirt. I took off my retainer and out it in its container. I put my hair in a fishtail braid and put on a little bit of makeup with some soft lip gloss. I grabbed my phone from its charger and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning honey! How did you sleep?" Mom asked as I sat down at the table next to all of the boys. They all laughed and I punched Alfredo in the arm because he was the closest to me.

"Fine." I said crossing my arms. How could I get back at them? I decided to think it over while eating my moms pancakes that she made every Saturday. It was pretty much tradition. I took two pancakes off of the plate in the middle of the table and went to the pantry and grabbed a jar of Nutella. I know it sounds weird, but pancakes with Nutella are the best thing in the world, trust me! I smeared a knife-full on both pancakes and began devouring them.

"Does that actually taste good?" Justin asked. I nodded and took another bite. He grabbed a pancake of his own and smeared some on too. He took a bite and pretended to fall over.

"This is amazing!" He said and soon everyone was trying it. We all sat with full stomachs and I finished off a glass of milk. We all sat in silence for a while appreciating the great meal.

"Where's Ryan?" I asked looking around.

"He wasn't feeling good this morning so he slept in." Chaz said. I shrugged and pulled out my phone. Apparently my video had gone viral from this morning.

"Thanks a lot you guys! Look at all these comments! Your fans are so weird." I said laughing at some of them. I decided to post a picture with all of the guys with a caption saying,

"Thanks a lot you guys. Had a great wake up call this morning." Within seconds, thousands of people had liked it. This was crazy. I was used to getting a little over a hundred likes over a picture and felt famous but this was a whole new level.

"So how about Caitlin and Selena last night?" Justin asked raising an eyebrow.

"They were fine. They seem really nice too." I said checking my messages. I had one from Caitlin saying it was nice to meet me.

"Just be careful, Caitlin might not be what she seems." Justin said.

"Ya, I mean she was crazy when Justin broke up with her." Alfredo said.

"She seemed perfectly nice last night. I think you guys should give her a second chance. Maybe she was just really emotional or something." I said. People change over time so why not give someone the benefit of the doubt.

"I gotta go do an interview in an hour so I got to go get ready." Justin said getting up.

"Okay I'll see you later." I said giving him a peck on his cheek. He kissed my forehead and left after saying goodbye to my mom. My phone buzzed and I got a text from Selena. She was asking me if I could go shopping with her.

"Hey mom? Can I go shopping with some friends?" I asked as I helped her clean up the plates.

"I don't know honey. Your dad is at work and I'm going to be going out to lunch with Pattie. I don't want to leave Jessie all alone in this huge house. Maybe take her with?" She said. I shook my head vigorously.

"Mom she's only a year younger than me! Can't she just stay home alone?" I asked. Whenever I do anything my sister always has to tag along. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love her. But this gets so annoying sometimes!

"Hey watch that attitude. I don't care if she's fifty years older than you or three years younger. I want someone to stay with her. Plus I trust you more." She said looking at me. Then I got an idea.

"Hey. You guys doing anything important right now?" I asked Alfredo and Chaz. They both shook their heads.

"You owe me for this morning and this is how ya'll are going to help me out." I said.

"Mom is it okay if I let my two most bestest most trusted friends watch Jessie for today?" I said pleadingly.

"Hey hey hey! We never agreed to this." Chaz said. Before he could continue I held my hand up.

"Should have thought of the consequences when you dumped a bucket of water on my head this morning." I said. He crossed his arms and Alfredo shook his head.

"Please please please?" I asked jumping up and down. I could see her warming up to the idea and after a few more minutes she finally gave in.

"Thank you!" I said hugging Mom and grinning devilishly at Alfredo and Chaz. I went to Jessie's room to find her still sleeping. I shook her awake and told her that Alfredo and Chaz were going to be babysitting her.

"Don't hold back on anything. Just be your normal annoying self and add on a bit more." She stuck her tongue out at me and rolled back over in her bed. It was pretty late. I couldn't believe she was still sleeping. I texted Selena back telling her I would meet her at the mall in an hour and went to go brush my teeth.
