Carlos finds it funny that he and Lia have all these arguments regarding the house that they are fixing. He finds it fun and exciting since it's part of their getting-to-know-you stage of their relationship. They never talked about their dream home, they had to get on with the execution immediately, and he is not complaining at all.

On some days, he wants to just piss her off because he finds it cute that she gets pikon over small things, but this time, that brick wall has a certain appeal to him, and he wants to keep it. He is thinking of more ways to convince her with that and when Lia said that they should take break in discussing the designs, he obliged since he needs to be in a meeting anyway.

He has been driving for fifteen minutes already when his phone rang. His secretary's name popped out and he answered the call using the Bluetooth.

"Yes, Kim?"

"Good afternoon Sir, papunta na po ba kayo sa meeting with Mr. Velasco?" his secretary asks.

"Oo. Nandoon na ba siya sa venue? I will be there in ten minutes siguro." He says and checks the time on his dashboard.

"Naku, Sir. Wag na po kayo tumuloy. Tumawag rin po yung secretary niya. Pinapa-cancel po. May emergency po ata. Re-schedule na lang daw po next week."

Caloy sighs. One thing he doesn't like are postponed meetings. He was hoping to get things done as soon as possible so he can have more time for the house and wedding planning. "Okay, Kim. Sige, thank you for letting me know."

"Okay po, Sir. Ingat po."

He hangs up the call. He wants to feel bad about it, but maybe he can feel better and look at the bright side of things that he can go back to Lia, and help her plan the wedding or just simply spend time with her. He happily drove back to the café and is already thinking if he should take her out to dinner as part of his get-the-brick-wall convincing plan.

Caloy arrived at the café and looked around if Lia is in the dining, but she's not. However, he saw Bianca, busy at the counter so he went up to her. "Hey, Biancs!"

"Uy! Akala ko may meeting ka?" Bianca smiles at him.

"Na-cancel eh kaya bumalik na lang ako dito. Si Lia?"

"Nandoon sa office niya."

He nodded. "May kausap ba or pikon pa?"

Bianca giggles. "Parang wala naman akong nakita na pumasok kanina. Pero medyo pikon pa ata sa'yo. Ang kulit mo naman kasi! Ang weird ng choices mo!"

He chuckles. "Ang cute rin niya mapikon eh. Anyway, suyuin ko muna."

"Sure! Sige." Bianca says and he walks his way to Lia's office.

He was a couple of steps from the door when he heard some voices. They were muffled and he cannot hear clearly on what is being said, but he is familiar with the voices. He hurried his way and as he opened the door, shocked is an understatement when he saw how Lia slapped Mel and the latter lost her balance, making her fall on the floor. He couldn't move as to what he saw. Lia was about to take another step towards Mel when his senses came back to him.

"Lia!" he exclaims, preventing his fiancé to do something else that can cause more harm between the two ladies. He saw how Lia is also shocked to see him there.

"Caloy... Caloy, tulungan mo ako..." he hears Mel mumble, crying out for help.

He doesn't know what's going on, but he is furious that Mel is there inside Lia's office. Of course, she has a plan once again. He heaved himself to help Mel stand. Gritting his teeth, he gripped Mel tightly on the arm and he saw how Mel's face changed with fear as he seriously looked into her eyes. He is livid, confused, and he can feel his heart beat so loud. Whatever happened, he knows it's Mel's fault. He knows that Lia won't hurt anyone without being triggered.
