The smell of freshly baked bread and brewed coffee invaded the senses of Lianna. She feels like she is in a dream made up of beautiful cafés and dessert fantasies until she felt someone tuck her hair away from her face and gentle lips touching her forehead. She smiles as she smells his perfume.

"Good morning, Beautiful..." he greets her. She finally opened her eyes and in front of her is her favorite face to stare at. She stretches her arms to pull him closer and he gives her another kiss, this time on her lips.

The past few weeks was something Lia cherished with Caloy. They worked out on communicating with each other by being more open and honest. Caloy didn't ask her, but she willingly opened up about her past relationships and suitors. She told him how she was before meeting Caloy and it made her feel better. She appreciates how Caloy was her listening ear and at the same time, he told her, too, how he was before when it comes to relationship.

Lia has been liking how things are going along in their relationship. It felt more sincere and genuine. They still argue on some things, but she likes it. It helps her know Caloy more and it helps her become a better person and girlfriend to him. Her friends said that they look like they are back to square one by taking things slow. She doesn't mind if it looks that way because at the moment, it makes her feel good. It makes everything right to have that honesty and trust between her and Caloy.

Their kiss ended and she smiles. "Good morning, to you, too, handsome!" she says. She sits up and leaned on her headboard while playing with his fingers. "What are you doing here? You have a big meeting today." She adds and checks the time on her clock. It's past six in the morning. He probably woke up early to be in her place.

He smiles. "Of course, I want to have breakfast with the birthday girl..." he says and reaches out on her side and hands her a bouquet of flowers. "Happy Birthday, my love..." he leans over to give her another kiss.

"Thank you, Babe... These are beautiful..." she describes the flowers on her lap.

"Halika na? I prepared breakfast for you. Kain na tayo bago pa lumamig yung kape? Kunin ko lang yung ibang food doon sa labas..." he says and immediately stood up to leave her. She looked around and finally noticed the food tray that he prepared.

There's bread, pastries, a bowl of fruits, mimosa, and coffee. She stood up and went to the bathroom to freshen up. When she came back, Caloy is already back with a plate of pancakes with bacon and eggs.

"This is too much, Babe..." she says and sat beside him. He started slicing the pancakes for her and she reached for the cup of coffee and took a sip.

"Nothing is too much. Besides... pambawi ko ito dahil wala ako ng mga nakaraang araw and hindi ako nakakuha ng leave today. I want to spend the whole day with you pa naman."

Caloy has been busy with client meetings and going through proposals lately that they spend time talking over the phone. He has been staying also in his place because it's nearer from the office than her's. She doesn't mind and understands because he just started with his new position. He needed to catch up with work.

"And I told you, I also understand. Sabi mo naman na you'll take me to dinner tonight and you have a surprise for me this weekend. Sobrang pambawi na 'yon."

"Okay lang ba talaga, Mahal? Hindi ka nagtatampo?" he says while showing those puppy eyes, finding him so cute.

She giggles. "Anong tingin mo sa akin? 5 years old para magtampo?" Caloy smiles. "Ayos lang talaga... let's eat na nga. Ayoko rin na ma-late ka sa trabaho."

Caloy nodded and they started to enjoy their breakfast together. They talked about the past few days that they weren't together and Caloy discussed with her the proposals that he has been getting, sometimes asking Lia what she thinks of certain products that they have been getting as clients.
