Ella's parents insisted that her friends should stay at the hacienda instead of booking a hotel room. Lianna, Bianca, and Carlos were led by Ella inside the guesthouse. It is located outside of the main house and it has 3 rooms with its own living and dining rooms, a kitchen and 4 bathrooms. The girls will stay in one room and Carlos will stay in the other together with Anton. They decided to get some rest and just meet up at around six at the main house.
At around quarter to six, Lianna is already dressed, just wearing a simple loose top, slacks, and paired with her flats. Bianca wore something casual, too, as Ella kept reminding them that they want it casual as much as possible since the occasion is all family. Bianca opened the door of their room and saw Carlos, looking at his phone, wearing a blue polo and jeans, waiting for them at the living room area.
"Mars! Halika dali!", she calls Lia.
Lia got near her, "What?"
"Tingnan mo..", asking Lia to take a peek.
Lia looked at saw Carlos, "Anong meron?"
"Hindi mo pa ba crush?"
Lia rolled her eyes, "Bianca, ano ba! Tigilan mo nga!"
Bianca closed the door and laughed at her friend. "Ang KJ mo!"
"Ang kulit mo talaga! Atsaka sabi nga niya may crush siya na gustong ligawan. Kaya tigilan mo ako!"
"Hay nako. Slow mo talaga.", Bianca mumbles.
"Ha? May sinasabi ka?", she asks as she didn't hear clearly.
"Wala. Sabi ko tara na!" They both walked out of the door which Carlos noticed. He stood up and smiled at them.
"Hi, Caloy!", Bianca greets him.
"Hello, ladies! Ang gaganda niyo naman!", he compliments them.
"Syempre! Pero parang mas maganda sa akin si Lia ngayon." Lia had no choice but to hit Bianca discreetly.
"Lagi naman maganda si Lia.", Caloy says. She looks at him giving her a smile.
"Tara na. Baka matunaw na si Lia!", Bianca says as the two just kept looking at each other.
"Ha?", both Carlos and Lia said at the same time.
Bianca wanted to laugh at the two, "Yung cake! Baka matunaw yung cake. Diba aayusin mo pa yun?"
"Yeah. Right. Let's go.", Lia says as she gets back to her senses.
The three walked to the main house and helped around. Ella introduced Bianca and Carlos to her family, while Lia is already a long-time family friend of the Romeros. Ella and Lia are childhood friends and knew each other when they still both lived in the same village in Makati. Their parents became good friends, too.
"Lia, you are looking a lot more like your mom..", Ella's mom tells her.
"Naku, Tita! Wag niyo po ipaparinig kay Papa yan at baka magtampo.", she and Ella's mom giggle.
"How's Leandro, Lia? Ang tagal na naming hindi nagkikita.", Ella's Dad asks her.
"He's doing well, Tito."
"Tell him I want to play golf with him soon."
"I will, Tito! He would love that. He's been cooped up in the farm. If you have time, it would be nice if you can visit him there, too!"
"Sure, Hija. That would be lovely.", she smiles at them.
More family and friends arrived and Ella and her parents excused themselves. The three smiled and told Ella not to fuss over them as they are not visitors. Lia double checked the dessert table as she promised Ella that she will be the one to arrange it. When everything is fixed, she joined Bianca and Caloy at the table.
