Hello my dear readers!

Yes, you read that title right. This is the final chapter of Be Mine.
Initially, I was supposed to write the whole story in 50 chapters or less, but here we are.

Let me just thank you for all the support that I've been getting since I started the story last year. The pandemic was quite bearable because of this story and it warmed my heart reading all your comments and tweets.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this one!

XOXO,

There were good times and bad times

There were good times and bad times. There were amazing and awful experiences that they shared, but they held on. They believed, hoped, and prayed. They were fine with them being alone for the rest of their lives, but a miracle was given, and they both knew how much they would treasure that gift.

Lia was happily munching on her green mangoes with bagoong while Caloy was lying on her lap, facing her tummy. After the crying fest that they had, the sudden craving for mangoes hit her palette. Caloy immediately called their butler for her request. She would like to believe that since she already told her husband, the pregnancy hormones kicked in.

Maybe their baby cooperated so they could surprise Daddy together.

They called their parents as soon as their emotions settled. Leandro was so happy with the news and was already getting ready to spoil the first grandchild, telling them about all the toys that he would buy for his apo. Caloy did a video call with his family so they could see their reactions. Jaime congratulated them and helped in telling Corazon even though she was confused about how Caloy would have a child already, and Christian was already volunteering to be the Uncle-Ninong.

"Love..." she hummed in reply as she took a bite of the mango. "Can you tell me again, please? I want to hear it one more time."

She smiled. He had so many questions after she told him the news, but she thought that he was still processing that he couldn't comprehend everything in one go.

She looked at him. He was just waiting for her answer. "Hindi ako nagkaroon ng period ng December. I didn't notice because I was so busy with everything that was going on with our lives. Nawala sa isip ko talaga..."

"Until?"

"Until Bianca asked if I had a tampon with me because she got her period."

They were in La Union, and it was their last day. They were going back to Manila when Bianca messaged her if she brought with her some tampons. It suddenly hit her that she didn't have her period yet, so she double checked her calendar. She was already delayed for more than a month.

"And you didn't tell me because?"

"Because I wanted to be sure. Ayokong umasa tayo ulit kasi naisip ko na baka naman stress related lang... or my supplements are doing its job. There were so many factors because of my condition."
