Lia is currently at her office with Ella and Bianca. She is just smiling, looking at her conversation with Caloy. Ever since that night, Caloy has always been so vocal about his feelings and every time he would say those three words, her heart just flutters inside of her. She just typed the three heart emojis, her reply to him every time he would text, "I love you". She knows he wants to hear those three words from her, too. Hopefully, soon.
The year is about to end, and her best friend's wedding is in three weeks. Ella has always wanted a December wedding, because according to her, the Christmas spirit adds a different vibe, and she agrees. She loves the Christmas season. However, she learned that it is a busy time for Caloy and the ad agency because of all the ads that they need to produce. In the next three weeks, he said that he will be in Cebu and Davao to handle some clients and oversee some video shoots. He was sad about it when he told her during one of their date nights. She said it's totally fine since she will be busy also at the café. Ber months bring in more orders for her so for the mean time they have to deal with it for a while until they see each other again at the wedding.
She didn't notice that her friends are looking at her, smiling like an idiot, until Bianca snatched her phone from her hands.
"Bianca!", she exclaimed. Bianca immediately ran on Ella's side and browsed through her messages. "Give it back, please.", she sighs.
"Oh my God!", Ella said and they both looked at her.
"Tangina! Ano to?", Bianca shouted, too.
"What?", she asked trying not to sound like she doesn't know anything. She never told them about her relationship status with Caloy, so she is sure she is going to get some unwanted words from her friends.
"Bakit may I love you na?", Bianca asks.
"And your reply is just an emoji? What the hell, Lily!", Ella asks.
Bianca raised a brow at her, "Kailan pa to? May label na ba kayo? Kayo na ba?"
"Are you going to answer any of our questions?", she heard Ella getting impatient already.
She scratched her forehead, thinking of what to tell her best friends. She walked over and snatched her phone back and placed it in her pocket, before sitting beside them.
"Um... Two weeks ago?", she started.
"At the party?", Ella asked. She nodded. She has no choice but to tell them or else they will not stop until they hear what they really want. "Sabi mo nagsayaw kayo, tumambay sa pool side, at nag-usap."
She nodded and confirmed what Ella said. "Well that's what really happened! I just didn't tell you that he admitted his feelings for me while we were dancing."
Bianca squealed in kilig, "Oh my god! My ship is sailing!"
Ella looked at her, "But what did you say?"
