Caloy woke up because of the familiar scent of anti-sceptic, blood, alcohol, and sterile. He is inside the hospital. The room is well lit and is filled with people. He doesn't remember anything. He doesn't know why he is in the hospital. He asked the names of the people inside the room. They said that they are his family and friends and introduced themselves. One by one, as they say their names, he remembers them and his relationship with that person.
However, when a woman went near him, she said that her name is Lia. She is tall, thin, morena, with straight hair. She gave a smile towards him. She looks familiar to him. He was about to smile back, but another woman, on his other side, said that her name is Lia, too. She is fair skinned, her hair is a bit wavy up to her shoulders, with eyes that speaks to him in volumes. She touched his hand, and he felt an electrifying feeling that crawled all over him.
"Babe... it's me. It's Lia. How are you feeling?"
"Honey... don't you remember me? I'm Lia..."
Caloy doesn't know who to believe anymore. His eyes felt like a tennis ball that goes back and forth in between two players. Two women are claiming the same name and he felt confused. He felt his head is starting to hurt once again and getting dizzy. He closed his eyes, trying to suppress the pain. The next thing that happened when he opened his eyes is everyone is gone. He is empty again inside the room.
"Sino ka?"
Caloy is staring at the woman in front of him. She is the same woman in his dream. She is fair-skinned, wavy hair up to her shoulders, and the eyes that he loves staring at. He needed to ask because he is scared and confused. He needs to be sure of this woman who is currently feeling nervous like him.
Caloy felt the woman in front of him hold his hand, wiping the tear the escaped from her eye.
"Caloy..." she calls his name.
"Sino ka?" he asks again, hoping that she'll answer this time. The woman's tears kept falling. He is hurting as he sees this.
"Sandali... tatawag ako ng doktor." She says and she was about to let go of his hand, but he didn't let her. He held her hand tightly.
"No. Dito ka lang. Huwag kang aalis hangga't hindi mo sinasabi ang pangalan mo."
He saw how she took a deep breath. "I'm... I'm Lia... Don't you remember me?"
Caloy can finally breathe. He didn't notice that he was holding his breath for so long. He is alive. He can finally feel and hear his heartbeat. The heart that beats for her.
"Oh my god..." he can feel his tears forming in his eyes. "It's you..."
"You remember?" she asks him and squeezes his hand.
"L-Love..." he mumbles, and he felt that she is relieved of what he called her.
"Oh, god... Babe..." she says with a shaky voice and cups his face gently, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead. He is sure that he isn't in a dream anymore. The right person is there with him. "You remember me? Do you remember what happened?"
He nodded. He remembers being in an accident. He remembered that he was talking to one of his staff while looking at everyone in the studio, doing their own thing. The next thing he heard is that someone shouted, "Tabi!", and saw one side of the scaffolding fall. He was immediately up on his feet, pushing some people away from the scene, trying to save them from the other falling lights. Then everything went black.
"Babe... may nararamdaman ka ba? Do you need anything?" she asks again. He can feel how worried she is.
"No... I just need you here. Don't leave me, okay?"
