Be Mine

Carlos just got out of a client meeting in the conference room when his secretary, Kim, approached him. The look in Kim's face is a worried one and he knows that it concerns something important. Kim walks alongside with him, going back to his office.

"Sir, tumawag po si Paolo."

"Anong problema?"

"Hindi po masaya yung client sa shoot ngayon. Parang may gustong ipa-bago."

He took a deep sigh. He knows that these things happen in a shoot, but normally his team can sort it out. However, the fact that they had to call him, it means it's a big change. He checked the time and it's already one in the afternoon. He hasn't eaten lunch, but he needs to go at the shoot to check it personally.

"Sige, I will get my things sa office. May iba pa ba akong appointments? If you can cancel them, paki-ayos na lang. Hindi ko alam kung anong oras matatapos yung shoot.

"Cleared na po kayo, Sir."

"Okay. That's good. Can you at least get me a sandwich sa cafeteria? Sa kotse ko na lang kakainin."

"Sige po, Sir."

They walked in separate ways and checked his phone. He saw messages from his team, looks like he needs to do some convincing so that the client will be happy. He gathered his things and waited for Kim. As soon as she arrived with food, he left the office to handle the problem.

Lia and Bianca are inside the commercial space that they will be renting for their new branch. It's bigger compared to the main branch. Together with them is Rocky, the architect.

"Excited na ako, Lia!" Bianca says while taking photos of the space. She is very excited, too. This has been a dream of hers for years already. They are using their own money to build this. It is really a product of blood, sweat, and tears.

"Me, too. I can't believe this is really happening." She says. She can't help but to just look around and savor all of it. Since it's a spacious venue, they plan to have a bigger VIP rooms so they can cater to bigger events in the future. They also plan to have a loft since they have high ceilings. They want to maximize the space as much as possible.

"So, ladies..." Rocky approaches them. "We'll start the construction next week. The interior designer will contact you as well so she can start planning with you."

"Thanks, Rocky." She says. Having Rocky as their architect is a blessing. He captured what they wanted, and he's been very helpful when it comes to executing other ideas.

"No problem. Excited rin ako to do this project. Anyway, I will just update you again once we start? Mauuna na ako. May isang meeting pa kasi ako." He gave the two a buzz on the cheek. They have been getting pretty close with Rocky because of the meetings that they have been having. They are slowly learning more about him and learned that he is getting married. In fact, the interior designer is his fiancé.

"Ingat ka, Rocky!" Bianca says and Rocky gave them a wave as he left the venue. The two walked back to their own cars. Bianca came from Oliver's house and Lia came from the café and they decided to just meet at the venue.

"Magkita na lang tayo sa café?" Bianca asks as she pressed her key, making her car beep.

"Sige. Pero daan lang ako kay Caloy." She says.

"Asuuuus! Manlalandi muna ng jowa.." Bianca teases her.

"Che! Eh ikaw nga kila Oliver pa natulog kaya dito ka na sumunod!"

"Siyempre! Kayo lang ba ni Ella ang malandi sa jowa?! O sige na! Ingat ka sa daan." Bianca gave her a buzz on the cheek before getting inside her car.
