It was a good day for the café. Lianna and Bianca are very happy with their sales that day. Bianca wanted to have drinks with Lia but she declined and wants to rest. She promised they'll have a girls night out soon with Ella. She was driving home when she received a message. She ignored it until she stopped for the red light. She checked her phone and smiled when she read who it is from. She immediately replied before the light turns green.

She arrived at the condo happily, but when she reached the floor of her unit, she did not expect Gary to be there waiting for her. He is sitting on the floor, by her condo unit, obvious that he has been waiting for a while now. She sighed and that's when Gary noticed her, and he stood up.
"Lia.."
She walked past him and trying to open her unit with her keys. She is annoyed that she cannot open the door and still fumbling with her keys.
"Lia, mag-usap tayo.", he begs her.
"Umuwi ka na. Wala na tayong dapat pag-usapan.", she finally opened the door. She tried to close it, but Gary is stronger than her and she did not really have any other choice when he stepped his foot in. She let him be and went to the fridge to get a glass of water, still trying to ignore Gary.
"Lia, please.. kausapin mo naman ako."
She just faced away from him, trying not to look at him. She is mad, frustrated, disappointed, and annoyed. She does not know that someone can feel all of those at the same time. She wants to cry but she cannot. "Don't cry, Lia. Don't fall for him", her mind telling her those words.
"Lia.. utang na loob. Wag mo naman ako pahirapan ng ganito. Please, Lia. Hindi ko ito kaya."
Lia closed her eyes in disbelief. He had the guts to say those to her. She finally decided to face him.
"Ang kapal rin naman ng mukha mo. Ikaw pa talaga ang nahihirapan?", she is really starting to get pissed.
"Lia, ayusin natin to. Magpapaliwanang ako.", he tries to be calm towards her. She can feel it.
"Wala na dapat ipaliwanag, Gary."
"No, Lia. You need to hear me out first."
Maybe she needed to hear it. Maybe she needed it so she can decide further. "Galingan mo, Gary. Kasi paubos na yung pasensiya ko.", she tells him.
"I was on my way to the hotel to meet you when a nurse called me saying that Clara is in the hospital. I need to be there kasi someone spiked her drink. She got an allergic reaction and she got dizzy. Hindi siya nakahinga kaya.."
Lia just nodded. "Okay."
"What do you mean okay? Hindi pa ako tapos. I needed to be there kasi ako yung -"
"Okay na.", she cuts him off again.
"Okay na? Pinapatawad mo na ako?", he asks again.
Lianna looks at him. Does he deserve forgiveness for what happened? She does not know what to even feel towards him. She cannot even process his explanation. All she knew is that he needed to be with Clara because he is the husband. He is with Clara because that is what's right. And her? She is just someone that is about to ruin a marriage.
