As we stepped outside, groans of pain and cries of sorrow filled the air. My arm slowly slipped from Bellamy's as we came into view of the Capital city.
Polis was destroyed.
The once beautiful and bustling place was dark and embodied death. Bodies were gathered and the dead were set in a pile.
"She'll be okay. Octavia can take care of herself." I looked between the two, knowing what I had missed.
"That's not what I'm worried about." I went to ask, but let Clarke speak.
"She won't be charged. Everyone will say that Pike had it coming." I blinked, the information confirmed what I already concluded.
"Maybe we all do."
"Way to be positive, Bellamy." I scolded, looking out at the people in the city. "Though I understand why. We stay quiet about the plants until we can confirm it. These people have gone through enough." My words were quiet as I stepped passed the two and further out into the city. People stopped and watched me as I walked. Whispers filling the air as I scanned the death and destruction around me. The despair filled my lungs as I breathed in the smell.
Slowly, I turned in place, scanning the people before a woman caught my eye. Her wails loud as I eyed the man from afar. He was one of the men who chased Clarke in the City.
I heard the blonde begin to run over but I held out my hand before she could reach the grieving woman.
"He didn't fall." Bellamy said as he eyed the man.
"No, I killed him. In the City." I spoke drawing gasps from around as the grounders formed a circle around us.
"Wanlida, the White Wolf." The woman whispered, backing away from me as I stood before them.
"The White Wolf." Whispers hissed in fear as I scanned the crowd, their eyes filled with renewed fear as they looked upon me.
Joy, a new nickname.

"Wanlida." I eyed the slowly circling Azgeda men and women. All prepared for a fight.
"Wanheda." They spat as I started to lead the way into a section of the courtyard that was less crowded.
"Good. You're here." Clarke voiced as Abby and my father walked over.
"We have to go." I interrupted my dad before he could say anything. "It isn't safe for any of you here. They blame Skaikru for the chip." I informed, keeping an eye out on the Azgeda warriors who were planning something.
"Azgeda has something up their sleeve, you all have to leave now." I said quieter my hands casually resting on my belt near the hilts of my daggers.
"What about the wounded?" I looked Abby in the eyes.
"They won't let you get close, to try would make you less than a hopeless fool." Bellamy and Clarke nodded in agreement.
"Rover is in the North woods. We'll treat our people at Arkadia." Bellamy concluded before Raven's voice flowed through his walkie.
"Hello?" The five of us glanced down at the radio as it went staticky. I jerked my head towards a closed off spot and the three of us walked over there leaving the older adults behind.
"Bellamy, please come in." Her voice was surrounded by static.
"Raven, you okay?" Bellamy asked as we moved away from prying ears.
"Yeah. Yeah. We're all in one piece."
"That's good. There's something we need you to look into." I subtly glanced around noticing the Arkadian guards that had circled around us.
"First, tell me how my friends are. Did everyone make it? Clarke?" Bellamy offered the blonde his walkie and gave me a glance.
"I'm here, thanks to you." I heard Raven sigh in relief. "Raven, did Alie ever tell you why she created the City of Light?"
Okay, yeah, let's not talk about how I'm alive too.
"No. Why?"
"The King! En's kiken! Osir gaf fisa in!" A man shouted, my head whipping around as he mentioned Roan.
"Clarke?"
"We'll fill her in. Go, they need a doctor." I told her, ushering her away.
"Right, Raven." I walked with Bellamy over to the fencing where I could keep an eye on Clarke, Abby, and my dad as they ran over to Roan's body.
"You're sure?" I grabbed the walkie from Bellamy.
"That's why we need you to check it out. And hi, yes, I'm alive too. Surprise." I finished jokingly. I heard her small chuckle in reply.
"Of course you're alive. That's why I didn't ask." I set a smile on my lips even though inside I was dealing with the flashbacks.
"What can I say, I'm a fighter." We shared a small chuckle before my attention was pulled away.
"Get away from our King." I handed the walkie back to Bellamy and made my way over towards Clarke. The blonde once again in trouble.
"Wait, please, no." Abby said as I neared them, my eyes on the female holding Clarke.
"You're making a mistake. We're part of the coalition." I walked up to my dad, on the other side of the King's body.
"I could save him, but you have to let me." Abby spoke again, her eyes locked on the sword at Clarke's throat.
"I remember you." I spoke, interrupting the silence. "Echo, was it?" I cast a dramatic glance down towards the King.
"Pretty sure a spy needs a leader. The bullet is still in your King. Who better to take it out than the people who's weapons caused it."
"We have our own healer. Lid haihefa-de gon bangeda seintaim kom ostof kom oso stedaun. Dula'm op nau." I stepped away slightly, eyebrows raising as I stared at the spy.
"Echo." Bellamy's voice came closer as he came to stand beside me, inching to get to them.
"Hey, Bellamy, don't." Clarke said as he started to play hero and got ready to attack the woman.
"Let her go, Echo! Let her go!" I set a hand on his chest and turned to face him.
"Stop, you're not going to help anything. Just calm down." I whispered as I kept him in place. His eyes flicking from me then back to Clarke. "We will save her. Trust me. I know you don't trust her, so trust me. Please." I pleaded, his eyes came back down to lock with mine and I saw them soften.
Okay. Time to be a "diplomat".
