But more things are a whole load of complicated.

"Dad, you can't do this." I hissed over the walkie as I once again was riding towards Polis. Erebus and I gliding over the freshly fallen snow as the sun dipped out of sight.

"We made a deal with Indra. We have to." I shook my head as his words filtered through the walkie.

"Then I'm making a new one." I cut the radio and clipped it onto my belt before focusing on navigating in the dark.

I was nearly there. Erebus and I both tired as we barely had any rest. The snow Erebus kicked up would sometimes splash on my face and help keep me awake, but other times I would nearly fall asleep in the saddle with full confidence in Erebus to get me where I needed to go.

"Kane. Don't. Roan!" Clarke's voice was loud as I quickly turned Erebus in the right direction with a gentle and swift motion.

"Trikru. What is this?" I made it to the edge of the clearing as the bodies in front of Roan were shot down. My mind already made up.

I thundered into the clearing, white snow kicking up in our wake. Lunging from Erebus's back and landing in the center of everyone I brandished my sword and dagger as Erebus and I stood side by side glaring at everyone who had frozen as they look upon us.

"Release my people, Roan." I spat as my glare turned on him, Erebus rearing up in agreement. His eyes watching as another figure crept through the trees.

"And you," my head turned towards the lone figure in the trees, "you have something that belongs to me." Echo quickly masked her shocked expression with one of false confidence.

"Welcoming back to Polis, my King." I turned my gaze back on Roan as he sized me up. Between my two blades and Erebus's protective glare, he smartly stayed where he was.

"Why should I release them when they have betrayed my trust?" I managed a smirk as I twirled my dagger back into its stealth and spun my sword around.

"Because I have a proposal."

"Live? The Radiation's gonna be here in six days." I shoved the door open to the private dining room with a scowl across my face. I had been placed in a room to wait for Roan's audience but once I heard Echo's voice drift past I knocked out my escorts and proceeded to the dining room. "You were willing to share the bunker with us, why not share it with Trikru, too?"

"Because they're selfish." My words were strong as I came to the table shocking both of them. "Because they have a life long feud which caused our dear King to be exiled as a result." I placed both hands on the table to steady myself before looking up.

"But I know a way that will determine who gets the bunker and the glory. The final chance to diffuse this ongoing battle between the clans." He seemed interested as he approached me.

"And how, Wanlida would you expect us to accomplish that?" I smirked as he played right into my hands. I could see the eagerness in his eyes.

"We fight. One member from every clan of the Coalition. And I mean every clan of the last Coalition under Commander Lexa kom Trikru." I saw his eye twitch as he understood where I was going. "Every clan sends there best warrior, and we fight. The last warrior standing wins the bunker and glory for their clan. And they get to deem how the bunker is used. Both who goes in and who stays out." Roan turned away from the table as he contemplated what I had said.

"All the clans from the last Coalition under Commander Lexa kom Trikru?" I nodded and gently grasped the silver cuff around my left wrist. The one I only took off when wearing long sleeves and nearly showed Bellamy the night we went looking for Peter.

"All the clans." Roan met me back at the table, his eyes meeting mine as he grew dangerously close.

"Will Riskiwe Natshanakru—"

"Sha." I didn't let him finish as I gave him the answer he needed to hear. His brown eyes glancing between mine as they read the promise in my green ones.

"I'll call the Summit."

"It's funny." She jumped as she looked to find me as I hid in the shadows. "You think that such a simple blow can kill me and you get to take my dagger as a what? Were you hoping it would've been a trophy? A symbol?" I pushed from the wall as she spun around her own blade out.

"We're you hoping it would give you the powers of Wanlida?" I mockingly chuckled as I came into the light of the room. "And you're not even using it. Poor thing is being neglected." I strode closer as she let her blade fall closer to her side.

"I would keep that up if I were you. It is only fair I win it back. But be a dear and get ready quickly. I have a Summit to attend." Echo was offended as she stared at me confused.

"Wha-" I cut her off by sending a punch across her face. Her head tilting as she dropped her blade and was left bare handed.

"That's going to leave a mark." I chided, kicking the blade out into the corner of the room before sending a fist into her gut. She growled before trying to tackle me but her rage blinded her and I was able to side step and send a kick to her back.

"Did you only learn how to play with a knife? Or is hand to hand just too complex?" I scoffed as she stood and got into an attacking stance. "Put your feet wider or you'll topple off balance. On your toes." I instructed, fists rising as a grin stretched out over my lips.

"Come on, let's see what Azgeda has taught you, Spy."
