"Clarke. You sure?"
"Yes, I can handle things here. But I need you to go with them to get that Hydro-generator. Without it we won't survive." I nodded in agreement, we did need it.
"Why else are you wanting me to go?" My voice was soft as I looked her dead in the eyes, piercing through to see the answer deep in her ocean blues.
"Because they won't get it without you. They are going into Azgeda, you're the only one I know that can make it through alone. I trust you. And I don't have to worry about the rest of them if I know you are there." I sighed and moved around the table, my arms reaching up so I could place my hands on her shoulders.
"Clarke, we aren't going to lose anymore people. Not if I have a say in this. Fuck what Alie said, we will find a way- I promise." Her eyes were tired as she nodded, her hand coming up and resting on one of my own. "Have you gone to sleep?" The bags beneath her eyes seemed to deepen as I asked the question that had been on my tongue since I caught up with her after I ran through security.
"Does four days ago count?"
"Clarke." I scolded, bringing the younger girl into a hug. "You promise me you'll take a nap. If I find out you didn't take a lunch break or a nap I will tie you to a bed and make you go to sleep." My threat was mixed with kindness, but I meant every word.
"Understand?" I pulled back to see her defeated look as she realized there was no arguing with me.
"Yes, I understand. Now, I have to find Raven and you have a mission to get to."
She slipped from my grasp and started towards the door. Her pace slower than before as a sign of her fatigue. She wouldn't be able to keep this up if she wanted to help save us. If she kept it up, it would kill her.

"I don't like Monday's." I rolled my eyes as I listened to Jasper's excessive singing. Monty's voice interrupting just in time for me to not throw a towel at the naked male and rip him from his pointless shower.
"You know you're wasting our drinking water, right?"
"You know we're all gonna die in 6 months, right?" Jasper retorted mockingly.
"Not if we find what we're looking for today." I slowly began to make my way over to them, picking up a towel as I went.
"Oh please. Tell me about another pointless task Clarke has roped you into. Or, better yet, don't." I threw the towel on a small hook attached to the wooden post.
"He can't, because Clarke didn't rope him in. I did. I'd take you too, but you seem underdressed." I heard Monty stifle a chuckle from behind me as Jasper rolled his eyes.
"We're going to farm station. Why don't you come with us?" I rolled my eyes and turned to face Monty, taking steps backwards.
"Wheels up in ten." I informed as Jasper turned his water off. My feet taking me further away as Jasper responded to Monty.
"Look at me."
"I'm really trying not to." I chuckled as I headed towards the hangar bay where I knew Bellamy would be loading up the gear. Adrenaline slowly pumping through my body as I let my feet carry me to my ride.
"Ready for that run I promised you?" I smiled at his nicker in agreement. My eyes scanning the bay area as Miller, Harper, Bellamy, and Bryan got the vehicle prepped.
"You sure you don't want me to stay here?" I mocked as Clarke walked up behind me. My hands quickly brushing Erebus as I got him ready to tack.
"Definitely not. Just get that hydro-generator and keep them safe." I set the brushes on the stool and turned to face the blonde.
"I always do." I shot her a cocky wink before grabbing Erebus's tack. His saddle pad settling on first before I swung the worn leather saddle on his back. "You just make sure you keep them all safe. And try to keep peace among everyone." I added quickly as I tightened the girth, Erebus's strong muscular form still as he allowed me to tack him. My smile growing as I placed a soft kiss to his forehead as I grabbed the bridle.
"I will." I set the bridle on Erebus face and walked around ready to hop on, my left foot in the stirrup, when Clarke continued.
"Make sure you keep yourself safe." I hesitated for a second, my body momentarily pausing before I hosted myself up. My body landing gently on Erebus as I looked down at the short blonde from his back.
"I always do." I sent her a sincere smile before I led Erebus over to the exit doors. His feet gently clomping on the metal, the simple sound music to my ears.
"Load up!" Bellamy shouted as Clarke gave him the seal. The unspoken promise the two of us had made after she asked me to go on this mission with them. Bellamy would be carrying the seal, it would offer him and the others additional protection. I on the other hand still had my own additional protection when dealing with the Grounders- myself.
"All right. Let's go!"
"We're just waiting on you!" I cooed back, mocking him with a faked sweet smile. Erebus underneath me had begun to get restless, it seemed he knew where we'd be headed and just wanted to run to ignore the tension.
"Right, my bad, your highness." I gave a devilish smile.
"You forgot royal!" I called over my shoulder as I gave Erebus the signal to start walking. Our speed slowly increasing until we were galloping outside of the gates.
Bellamy and the massive vehicle whirring behind us as they made it passed the gate and followed us down the large path through the forest.
"We're off to see the Ice Nation. The coldest Nation of Earth." I mocked aloud as we rode towards Azgeda.
"If only Echo wore bright red shoes and had gotten crushed by a falling house." Would have saved us a lot of time.
Now I know why I don't like Monday's.
