Zachariel's P.O.V

I got up fast when I saw Alexei standing with his bodyguards behind Dylan. I could see that Alexei was furious. He scowled at Dylan, then asked him, "Have you forgotten that bullying is against the law, Dylan Hudson?" I smirked when I saw Dylan tremble with fear. Dylan glared at me. I was sure that he would have punched me if Alexei wasn't there. It seemed like Alexei had enough of Dylan's despicable behavior. He walked closer to us and stood protectively in front of me. Dylan's anger flared when he heard Alexei say, "It seems like human language is difficult for you to understand, Mr. Hudson."

Dylan frowned at Alexei, then asked him, "Why do you care what I do to that two-timing scumbag, Mr. Marquis?" My head started hurting when I heard Dylan's remark. It suddenly felt like I had a fever. "Does he know Andrew?" I asked myself while rubbing my temple. I tried to control my emotions when the heat started radiating from my body. Alexei frowned at me when he felt the heat on his back. He turned around to face Dylan, then said to him, "Talk about the pot calling the cattle black. Aren't you being accused of working with prominent underworld figures, Mr. Hudson?" Dylan looked in fear around, then answered Alexei with, "You went too far this time, Mr. Marquis. I can't believe that you accused me of a crime that I have never committed for a waste of space like him."

Alexei walked closer to Dylan, then said while looking straight into his eyes, "I can't stand injustice, Mr. Hudson. I could see from afar what your goal was. You meant to hurt Zachariel Joseph when you pushed him. I don't know what you have against him, but you have no right to treat him that way. You can't hide the truth for too long, Mr. Hudson. The FBI is on to you. I wonder what would happen if I gave them a push in the right direction. It would be so much fun reading about your demise in the newspapers." Dylan took a step back, then uttered while pointing his finger at me, "I don't know why you are sticking up for him, Mr. Marquis. Zachariel Joseph tried to ruin my friend Andrew Waltz's life. I will never forgive a rat like him. Andrew has the kindest and purest heart. We have been friends since college. I can't count how many times he has helped me. I know how much he has struggled to get back on his feet after Zachariel Joseph left him. I'm glad that I never told Zavier about Andrew. I would have otherwise never gotten a chance to get my revenge."

I couldn't contain my laughter when I heard that Andrew had the kindest and purest heart. I ignored Dylan when he looked in anger at me. It was not like I didn't expect Andrew to know where I was. He knew that Zavier was my only friend. What hurt me the most was that he went as far as to fabricate this ludicrous story about me. I composed myself, then asked Dylan, "Are we talking about the same Andrew Waltz here, Dylan, because the one that I know is a coward, cheater, liar, and criminal." Dylan lashed out at me and tried to hit me. Alexei's bodyguards held him back before he could harm their boss in the process. I stood frozen to the spot, unable to do anything. Alexei grabbed Dylan's face in anger, then said to him, "I'm sick of your shit, Dylan Hudson. You have been spouting nonsense since I got here. All the security cameras have just recorded how you tried to attack me. Don't try to defend yourself, Mr. Hudson, because no one will believe you. I have enough evidence to prove that everything that I did to you was in self-defence. I will destroy you and everything that you own if you bother my employee again."

Alexei pushed Dylan to the ground in anger, then grabbed a bottle of hand sanitizer out of his pocket. He poured some of the liquid on his hands, then said while looking at Dylan, "I better be careful. Who knows which hole you crawled out of." I smiled when I heard Alexei's bodyguards snicker. Alexei put the hand sanitizer away, then uttered while motioning me to follow him, "Come with me, Mr. Joseph. I'll take you to the hospital to get your arm checked out." I nodded, then quickly followed Alexei. Alexei didn't say a word while walking to the van. I didn't feel great, so I stayed quiet too. Ocean gasped when she saw my bloodstained shirt. The kids were asleep. I didn't want to alarm them. I smiled at Ocean then whispered, "I'm fine, Ocean. It's just a scratch."
