Hello, my friends. I decided to upload chapter fourteen a day earlier. I hope that you guys will enjoy reading it. Next up is Zachariel's P.O.V. Let's see what he thinks about the mighty Alexei Marquis and his kids. I'll update the next chapter on Sunday or earlier. Stay safe, everyone and until soon.

It seemed like Zachariel felt a little apprehensive. Chance patted his back, then uttered, "Why don't you grab a plate, Zachariel? There are food and drinks on the table. You can eat whatever you like." Zachariel looked at the table full of food and hesitated for a bit. Briac grabbed his arm, then said, "Come one, Zach. Join us. The food is getting cold." Zachariel grabbed a plate, then uttered while dishing out food for himself, "I'll help myself then, sir." I shook my head when I saw him take only one piece of meat, a sausage, and a spoon of mashed potatoes. Zachariel took a seat next to me, then said, "You have a beautiful family, sir. Thank you for inviting me into your beach house. The real estate agent was right. Your beach house has the most beautiful view out of all the houses in this neighborhood."

Zachariel chuckled when I asked him, "Are you planning on buying the beach house next door, Zachariel?" Zachariel took a sip out of his water, then replied to me with, "I wish that I had the money to buy the beach house, Mr. Marquis. This neighborhood is safe, quiet, and child friendly. It also has access to all the essential recourses required for survival. It's a shame that most of the houses are empty. I'm sure that people would buy them if the real estate agency reduced the prices." Chance took a seat at the table, then uttered, "It seems like you put a lot of thought into it, Zach. Why don't you contact the real estate agency and give them advice on how to handle their affairs?"

It looked like Chance's careless words hadn't fazed Zachariel. He chuckled, then responded to Chance with, "It's not my job to do so, Mr. Madden. I'm sorry if I bothered you. I couldn't help but state the facts when Mr. Marquis questioned me. I'll stop now. Enjoy your meal." Chance realized his mistake when he saw Briac glaring at him. He quickly apologized to Zachariel by saying, "I didn't mean it like that, Zachariel. It's just that it seemed like you knew a lot about the prices of the houses and the neighborhood." Zachariel was just about to reply to Chance when his phone went off. Zachariel grabbed his phone and frowned while looking at the caller id. "Please excuse me. It seems important," said Zachariel while getting up. The kids looked startled at him. Zachariel smiled at the kids, then walked towards the beach. The wind was blowing, so we couldn't hear him. Briac kicked Chance's leg, then asked him, "What the hell is wrong with you, Chance? I had to drag him here, and you ruined his mood. He will never associate with us again."

Chance sighed, then responded to Briac with, "Why are you getting mad, Briac?" He doesn't seem to be affected by it. I've already apologized to him. Everything is fine." I was also angry at Chance. Zachariel had done nothing to deserve his wrath. I knew what Chance's goal was for making that remark. He wanted to find out why Zachariel was taking the pictures. He should have handled things differently. I sighed then looked in Zachariel's direction. Zachariel looked like a model that was in a photo shoot. The wind was blowing through his hair, and you could see his torso through his white shirt.
