Zachariel's P.O.V

Alexandre and Amelia turned out to be great grandparents. They played with the kids till they were content. The kids even forced me to put on a puppet show. Everyone except for Alexei was surprised by my skills. Alexei knew that I volunteered at a youth center. Briac and Chance joined Alexei and me on the patio when they got tired of chasing after Dominique. One of the maids instantly brought some beverages for them. Briac emptied his bottle of soda in one go, then asked me, "Did you ever find out who your secret admirer was, Zach?" Briac realized what he had done when I kicked his leg.

Briac looked in fear at Alexei, then uttered, "You don't have to worry about someone stealing Zach away from you, Alexei. I'm sure that it was just a prank." I kicked Briac once again, then yelled, "Stop making matters worse, Briac!" I turned around to face Alexei, then said to him, "No one is bullying me, Alexei. I have already made clear to the person who wrote the letter that I'm not interested." Alexei scowled, then asked me, "When did this incident happen, Zachariel?" I glared at Briac, then answered Alexei with, "It happened last Friday morning, Alexei. The letter was already on my desk when I arrived at work. And like I've said before, I've already taken care of the matter." Alexei nodded, then picked up Jacques, who seemed to be tired.

Jacques clutched Alexei's shirt, then uttered, "My feet hurt, daddy." It was almost dinner time, and the kids were too exhausted to move. Alexandre and Amelia led Genevieve and Dominique to the table, then took a seat with them. Alexei looked at the worn-out kids, then said, "Let's go inside to have dinner while the kids can still move, everyone." Alexei didn't even spare me a glance while leading everyone inside. I truly hoped that he wouldn't do anything stupid to my secret admirer. Alexei knew better than anyone that I wasn't interested in the sender of the letter. Alexei and I helped the kids wash their hands, then joined the others at the dinner table. The chefs had fortunately prepared something light for the kids because they were too sleepy to eat.

I was busy wiping Genevieve's mouth clean when I heard Alexandre say, "I've just realized what your true identity is, Zachariel." I looked in bewilderment at Alexandre, then asked him, "What do you mean, Mr. Marquis?" Alexandre chuckled, then responded to me with, "I've just concluded that you are the owner of the famous Triumph website, Zachariel." I snickered, then replied to Alexandre with, "You are right, Mr. Marquis. I came up with the name when I was young. It turned out to be lucky so, I stuck with it. You can't imagine how many customers the website has attracted throughout the years." Briac looked in shock at Alexei, then asked him, "Did you know about this, Alexei?"

Alexei sighed, then answered Briac with, "Chance and I found out about it after we visited the beach house. The real estate agency managed to sell all their vacant houses with Zachariel's help. They even offered him a stable job, but he denied their proposal." Amelia gasped, then asked me, "Were you the one who designed my new warehouse, Zachariel?" I nodded, then responded to Amelia with, "Yes, ma'am. I'm glad that it suited your taste." Alexandre grabbed his wife's hand, then asked her, "Which warehouse are you talking about, Amelia?" Amelia grinned, then answered her husband with, "It's the one that I built in Brooklyn to store the stuff that I receive for charity intended for that area, Alexandre. The plot was small, so no one dared to design the structure. I knew that Alexei could help me, but I was too afraid to approach him. I sought many architects' help. None of them accepted the job. One of the architects advised me to send the request to the Triumph website. I was surprised when I received a reply from Zachariel. He had not only managed to design the building but the logo of it as well. It took him only three weeks to complete the job. I couldn't reach the website when it was time for me to pay Zachariel for his services. It seemed like Zachariel had blocked me. My heart melted when my foundation received a letter stating that the Triumph website had donated its services to the organization. The construction of the warehouse finished in four months. The building is like a five-story supermarket. People can pick up the stuff that they need to survive with ease there."
