Why was I born like this, mum?

Hi, I'm Avery Leigh-Anne Gray. I'm 13 years old. My parents are Leigh-Anne and Andre Pinnock. I have 2 brothers named Ethan Thomas Gray who's 16 and Louis Kaiden Gray who's 10.

Avery's POV:
I was born completely deaf and autistic. It's a every day struggle at school. Not only I can't communicate at school but my grades are really bad. I get constant picked on by the other students but even the teacher makes fun of me. My parents have had loads of chats with the school but the bullying still hasn't stopped. I have a hearing aid but I can't communicate that well.

In class:
I'm just in lesson as usual and instantly I hear
"Oh there's the deaf bi*ch!"
"Can you hear us?!"
"Retarded c*nt." I sigh and a boy comes up behind me and rips my hearing aid out. I look over my shoulder and see him dangling it out the window. I hop out of my seat and run towards the window. Somebody trips me and I hit my head on the floor, not that hard though. Everyone returns to their seats as the teacher arrives. I quickly arrive to my seat and slump. I'm severely autistic and I can't hear a f*cking thing. I can sign good and that's the only way I talk to my family. The teacher sends me out. I hate my life.

At breaktime:
I see my elder brother next to the wall, Ethan is very protective of me. He'll help me. (Any talking that people do to Avery or Avery says is signing)
"Ethan, I need your help" I sign.
"What's wrong, sis?" He signs back.
"A boy ripped my hearing aid out! I can't hear a thing" I sign
"Where is he?!" He signs back and I point him out. Ethan grabs my hand and leads me over to this kid. He begins yelling at the kid. I just stand there, in silence. He holds out his hand but the boy drops my hearing aid on the floor and destroys it with his foot. Ethan grabs his collar and begins threatening him. I stare down at my now broken hearing aid. Ethan drops the kid and he bolts off.
"I'm so sorry, Avery. I'll take you to the medical room and they will phone mum or dad." He signs to me and I nod.

I'm now sitting in medical waiting for my mum to come. I notice her walk in and see my tears.
"Baby, what happened?" She signs to me
"A boy ripped my hearing aid out and destroyed it and now I can't hear a thing." I sign back.
"I'll phone daddy and he'll be giving that principal a piece of his mind." She signs and I chuckle. She rings daddy and he comes in and mum explains everything. He has a pissed off look on his face. He storms into the principal's room. Eventually he comes back out and picks me up.
"Darling, you are gonna be moving schools. I'll get your hearing aid sorted when we get home and you can have the rest of the week off." Dad signs to me and I smile.
"I love you, daddy." I sign
"I love you more, angel" He signs back. He hands me my stimulationary toy. We head home.

Back at home:
Daddy brings me into the living room
"Are you hungry or anything, love?" Dad signs to me. I shake my head no.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" He signs
"Can you get mum? I need to tell the two of you something?" I sign and he calls out. Mum walks into the room and signs "What's up?"
"Mum, why was I born like this?" I sign
"Well, baby. Not all people are born the same. It's like saying that all the Disney princesses are not the same. You are no different that Ethan or Louis, you were just wired a little differently." She signs back.
"I wanna be like the other kids, I don't like being deaf!" I sign.
"It's just something that makes you, baby." Dad signs.
"I wish I could hear, I never know what the other kids are saying about me when I don't have my hearing aid in" I sign and sigh.
"What did they do today?" Dad signs
"Called me rude names and threatened to hurt me." I sign and begin to cry.
"I'm heading in there later and complaining" Dad signs "I'm done with these kids being horrible to you and treating you like crap"
