Hi, I'm Ava-Jade Rae Stephens. The 7 year old daughter of Jade Amelia Stephens. I have a stepfather named Jordan Stephens, he's the best and treats me like his own.

Ava's POV: I was born fatherless so when mum told me that she had a new boyfriend, I was really happy. Jordan adored me from the start, treating me as if I was born with the surname Stephens. And then when they married earlier this year and I got to be a bridesmaid and it was the best day of my entire life.
"Ava, princess. Is it possible that me and mummy can have a chat with you?" Jordan asks me, smiling warmly. I nod and follow him downstairs into the living room and take a seat.
"So, we have to tell you something that's really important." He continues, taking a seat next to mummy. I furrow my eyebrows and inquire "I'm not in trouble, am I?" They chuckle and shake their heads.

"Mummy and I are having a baby." Jordan tells me, happily. I take a second to process this information and then a smile grows on my face. I stand up and sit next to my mummy before hugging her tummy and giving it a kiss.
"Are you being serious?" I ask, flabbergasted. Mummy nods and shows me a ultrasound picture and tells me "That's your little sister in there".
"It's a girl!?" I pipe up, hopefully to which she nods and I beam at the news.

9 months later: Mummy is currently having the baby and I'm sitting with my nana Norma, barely able to sit still in my chair.
"I can't wait to meet my baby sister, nana!" I exclaim, happily making my beloved nana grin at me.
"It's very exciting, isn't it, pet?" She tells me "I can see remember when you were born how excited I was... did you know that I actually was the first person to ever hold you?"

7 years prior, Jade's POV: My firstborn daughter is on the way and I cannot contain the excitement, almost as much as my mam. Jed is the biological father of my daughter but he wanted absolutely nothing to do with her, saying that a child would completely ruin his career.
"I think it's time to start pushing this little one out, Miss Thirlwall. You are 10cm now." The nurse tells me, happily. Mam comes and grasps hold of my hand before whispering "You've got this, darling" I smile and ready myself to become a mother for the first time.

A while later: The room goes completely silent and then we hear the most angelic cries of all time, they quickly go and clean her up.
"I'm so, so proud of you, pet." Mam tells me, with one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen on her. We wait a while before a doctor asks "Norma, would you like to hold your grandaughter?". I just watch my mam's entire face light up as she nods, quickly.

Norma's POV: I head over to the table and have my first glimpse of my granddaughter, she reminds me so much of Jade as a newborn. The doctor hands me her and I just smile down at the girl.
"Hello there, my darling. It's nanny here." I coo at her, sweetly walking over to Jade's bed. "You look so much like your mama, don't you?". My daughter smiles up at me and I hand her the newborn and her face just softens to the max, as her eyes begin to brim with happy tears.
"Hi, there my gorgeous little princess." Jade coos softly towards the baby in her arms. "Welcome to the world, I'm gonna show you everything. Just me, you and nanny" She looks up at me, beaming.
"I love you both more than anything" I tell her, grinning making my own eyes water.

Jade's POV: I gaze down at the angel in my arms, she grips onto my finger lightly and opens her eyes.
"Hello there, gorgeous." I coo, smiling. "Mama's right here and nobody is gonna take you from me ever." I kiss her cheek and lay her against my chest, eventually falling asleep.

Present day Jordan's POV: Jade's on the last push, then our princess is here. I'm ready to be a daddy for the second time. Just then, a angelic cry is heard and I get a glance of my daughter's beautiful face as she's taken to a table to be examined. Soon enough, she's on my wife's chest and we invite Jade's mum and our daughter into the room. Watching Ava's face light up meeting her new little sister makes my heart melt.
"So, what should we name this angel?" Jade asks and we get some gorgeous answers til we end up on:
