Hi, I'm AJ Benjamin Pinnock-Edwards, the 14 year old son of Perrie Louise Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

AJ's POV: I have always been so invested in makeup and drag culture, but the whole stigma that I've been constantly told at school

"Makeup is only for girls!"

"If you wear makeup and you are a guy, you are for sure gay!"

"I have to keep this a massive secret from my parents. They can't know anything about this" I tell myself, sneaking into my parents bedroom. I find mum's makeup and steal it, if I use it and then put it back when they aren't looking, they won't know a thing about it. I successfully get back to my bedroom and set all the makeup down. Time for a glam-up!

Perrie's POV: I head upstairs going to put some makeup on, just wanting to look good, when I open up my drawer and discover it empty. I immediately think my girlfriend has knicked it because she loves annoying me.
"Leigh-Anne, if you've stolen my makeup, please kindly return it!" I yell, leaning on the banister. She walks into my field of view and replies "I haven't touched any of your makeup, babe and that's actually true."
"If you are lying to me, I'm gonna actually murder you." I remind her, chuckling.
"Why would I steal your makeup when I already look like a goddess?" She asks me, making me laugh. That's when we notice AJ's bedroom door open and I can see the makeup laying on his vanity.
"Found the culprit, sweetheart." I admit, looking at him. She looks in my direction and smolders, sweetly.
"That's adorable, innit?" She questions and I nod "Shall we go and see what he's up to?" She nods.

AJ's POV: I'm looking flawless when in the reflection of my mirror, I see my two mothers. I freeze up and don't dare to look at them, knowing my ass is in trouble.
"Mum, before you say anything, I'm so sorry." I immediately apologise, really fretting at what they will say. "I know, I'm a fuc-"
"Baby, we don't mind what you do, as long as you are happy." Mum cuts me off, grinning. I don't think they are being frank so I look away.
"This isn't natural for me, mam!" I tell her, on ths verge of tears.
"Why not, darling? Who told you that it wasn't?" Mam asks me (Perrie is Mam and Leigh is Mum).
"All the kids call me the f slur for liking makeup." I begin to tear up, not  plucking up the courage to look either of them in the eyes.
"Baby, those people are wrong in every single way. Make up is for anyone, regardlless of their gender" Mam tells me, but I just get up and push past them. I head downstairs and out the front door, to anywhere my legs will take me.

Perrie's POV: The door slams, I was about to follow him but Leigh-Anne stops me.
"Babe, if I know our boy, he's probably heading to Jade and Jesy's house." She tells me, calmly.

AJ's POV: I can see my house just down the street when I make it to Auntie Jade and Jesy's house, Sierra will know what to do, she's been my best friend since nursery, even being the one getting me into drag culture at 10. I frantically bang at the door and Auntie Jade appears at the door.
"Hi, sweetheart. Where's mam or mum?" She asks, softly. I just run into her arms to which she gives me a big hug.
"I-I need to talk to Sierra." I choke up, hyperventilating slightly.
"Calm down a bit, sweetie." She comforts me, sweetly. "What's going on?"
"Don't wanna talk about it" I respond, blankly.
"Alright, but if you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm always here." She reminds me before I head up to Sierra's room.

I knock on the door and she answers it "Hey, AJ. What's wrong, why the tears?"
"Mams just caught me with makeup. I feel like a fuck-up, Sierra!" I reply, she pulls me into the room.
"Why would that be a bad thing, you honestly look phenomenal wearing it?" She tells me, making me chuckle slightly.
"Everyone says that if you wear make-up and you are a boy, you are gay." I quote the boys at school.
"Honestly, I'm not really the best person to talk to about the subject, AJ." She tells me, I know she's a massive tomboy and hates all girly things.
"I know, but I needed somebody to speak to" I reply, wiping my eyes.
