(Note for everyone: Next week I'm on half-term so I'll be able to make more chapters but I also have to begin revising for my Year 10 exams next month!)
Hi, I'm Avery Reagan Edwards, I am 4 years old and the only daughter of Perrie Edwards, I dunno who my daddy is.
Perrie's POV: I've been really busy with my work since we're currently in quarantine. I live at home with my mam and 4 year old daughter Avery. Just then I hear the tiny pitter patter of feet at the door, I look up and see my daughter in a cute little shirt and dungarees, holding her stuffed bunny that my mam got her for Christmas last year.
"Mama?" She asks me inquisitively. "What are you doing?"
"Mama's just catching up on some missed work, why baby?" I reply still writing.
"Can we play pwease!?" She asks needly
"Princess, I can't right now. I promise when I'm done I'll be out there and we'll play. But right now, Mama needs to do her work." I tell her expecting a "okay" before her walking off. But instead I got a whiny 4 year old stomping her feet on the ground.
"Mama, please!" She whines annoyingly. I sigh and tell her "Give me about 15 minutes, babe and I'll be out there" But that doesn't stop her whining and in fact it begins to get louder every second I ignore her.
"Avery Reagan Edwards, I said not now!" I snap aggressively but instant regret it when I remember that she hates loud noises and begins to cry loudly before running off to probably my mam.
Avery's POV: I run bawling into the kitchen to find nana, I am very scared. She hears my cries and turns around to pick me up.
"Ah, sweetheart, what happened?" Nana asks me, drying my eyes with her shirt.
"Mama 'ell at me!" I explain still crying my eyes out, she gets the message because she carries me into where mama is.
"Perrie Louise Edwards!" She yells whilst covering my ears gently.
Perrie's POV: I tense up after hearing my mam say my full name, I slowly turn my office chair towards.
"Yes, mam?" I sheepishly reply fully knowing that my ass is grass.
"Why am I hearing that you yelled at Avery?" She asks me a little pissed off.
"I'm just sitting here trying to do my work and she j-" I begin but Mam interrupts me mid-way through my sentence. "Perrie, Avery isn't gonna be a little girl forever. She just wants some attention from her mam." I lower my head, not daring to talk back to my mother.
"Spend some time with Avery, darling." Mam tells me softly. I accept that I'm wrong before proceeding to stand up and take my daughter from my mam and carry her into the living room.
In the living room:
"Baby girl, do you wanna watch a film?" I ask my daughter in my arms whom nods happily. I put on her favourite film Aladdin before sitting on the couch. Avery crawls onto my lap and leans against my chest. I give her a kiss on the head and tell her "I love you very much, princess.
