(This was requested by somebody but I decided to add some other events because short chapters don't seem right)

Hi, I'm Jasmine Alexandra Stephens, the elder and 15 year old daughter of Jordan and Jade Stephens with a younger brother named Jesse Christopher Stephens who's 12 years old.

Jasmine's POV: So, it's currently quarantine and we are all bored to death being forced to stay at home and it is kinda like we are stuck in federal prison for the foreseeable future. Today is currently Friday and I'm just finishing up on some of my schoolwork. I've had Maths, French, Religious Studies Short Course and now Food Nutrition and Technology as I'm in the middle of doing some tests as the real GCSES have been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which is the last resort for the government.

I finally finish writing the last line of my work and sigh in relief as I send it to my teacher, it's currently 2:42pm and I'm done for the weekend with half-term break next week. Dad appears at my door with a smile on his face.
"You finished with all of your schoolwork, darling?" He inquires, sipping his cup of coffee.
"Yep, all done for this term! I actually can't wait for all of this to be over with, dad." I tell him with a smile on my face.
"Neither can I, darling. I already miss my job and it's only been a few weeks so you can just imagine how your mum have dealt with it." He responds, chuckling. "Anyways, why don't all of us have a movie night? It's been a while since we've all spent more than 30 minutes in the same room, what do you think?"
"Sure thing, dad." I smile at him before he walks out of the room. I put my laptop on charge and head into my little brother's room or 'mancave' as he calls it.

Jesse has always thought that he's so mature and that he can just do whatever he wants in his bedroom, which for the most part, Mum and Dad don't exactly do anything about it which could be quite dangerous because who knows whom he's playing with on his Xbox!? He also is quite territorial so if Mum or Dad did try to punish him, he just act like a bratty toddler and will scream his lungs out so they mostly just leave him alone.
"Jesse, what are you up to?" I ask my annoying younger brother, who glances at me with his headset and controller glued to him.
"Go away, Jasmine, I'm busy!" He tells me, aggressively but not taking his eyes off of his screen.
"Jeez, I just asked what you were doing!" I defend myself but notice something coming towards my head, I dodge it last second, I look down at the object that was just thrown and it was a can of deodorant so I pick it up and put it on the dresser next to me "Jesse, that could have exploded, don't throw things!"
"Yeah, whatever, you bitch..." He groans at me being somewhat patronising. "Just get out of my room or I'll throw something more dangerous at your face!"
"You're a spoilt little brat, you know that?" I remind him, ignoring his attempts of a threat. "I originally was just gonna ask if you wanted to come down later for a movie night, but obviously not!"

Before he can even argue back, I shut his bedroom door and hear a massive bang on the door, indicating that he has indeed thrown something in my direction.
"MY XBOX CONTROLLER, JASMINE YOU'RE PAYING FOR THAT!" He screeches but I just ignore him and head downstairs as I can hear s temper tantrum erupting.

As I get to the bottom of the stairs, Dad is there investigating what the loud bang was.
"What on earth was that loud bang?!" He questions me as I walk into his field of view.
"To put it simply, I just asked Jesse if he wanted to join us for movie night and when I was going to leave after getting a 'no', he chucked his Xbox controller at his bedroom door." I explain and I can just see Dad's growing anger on his face.
"Alright, I need to deal with this little brat's behaviour, I've had enough, his Xbox is going." Dad responds as calm as he can before heading upstairs to disipline Jesse for probably the first time in his life.

I've heard Dad angry before but never this pissed off as I am currently hearing, it's so loud that I can still hear it in the living room.

Mum and Dad have always been very chilled and calm parents when it came to punishments, the occasional time-outs and groundings are the normal but they've never taken our phones away or given us a severe punishment , so that's why I was actually surprised when all of a sudden, the house just goes eerily silent before this ear-splitting scream explodes from Jesse's bedroom, a scream that you'd expect only dogs to be able to hear but astonishingly, humans can. I'm intently stunned that all of the windows haven't shattered.

Dad walks down the stairs with Jesse's prized Xbox in his hands and I can just about see Jesse having a full-on temper tantrum with tears and profane language towards Dad.
"Give me my fucking Xbox back right now, you pile of steaming shit!" Jesse wails, sprinting after Dad whom locks the console and Jesse's phone in a cupboard and ignores all of my brother's demands or begging.
"Jesse Christopher Stephens, you can scream and swear at me all you want but that won't give you your Xbox back any time sooner!" Dad tells him but that doesn't stop Jesse's childish tantrum.

And this kid is in Year 8? Secondary school? If he acts like this at home, I can only imagine what he is like at school. With this kind of behaviour, I'm seriously flabbergasted that he hasn't been sent back to nursery at this rate.

That's just when Mum arrives back home from taking the dogs out for their daily walk to discover this scene as soon as she walks through the front door.

"Honey, can you come and sort Jesse out? He's being a real pain in the bloody ass!" Dad asks Mum, rage filling his voice.
"Jesse, get off of the floor" Mum demands, pulling Jesse to his feet. "Now, get your backside to your room right now, I'll be upstairs to deal with you in a minute!"

Astoundingly, Jesse storms up to his bedroom and just slams his bedroom door hard.

Later that day, we're getting set up for the movie when a small figure with still teary eyes appears at the door.
"Mumma, dad, I'm really sorry!" Jesse tells them and for once I kinda feel bad for him which is rare.
"The person you need to apologise to is your Papa and your sister, Jess." Mum replies, keeping her attention on the television.
"I'm sorry, Jasmine. I just let my anger take over me, I'll be better." He apologizes to me.
"It's fine, Jesse." I accept his apology, giving him a hug before he heads into the kitchen to apologise to Dad.

A few minutes later, Jesse comes back into the room with a smile on his face followed by Dad whom seems really calm especially after what happened earlier.
"How about we forget about what happened and just watch films?" Mum suggests and we all agree immediately.

And so that's what we did, I may hate my little brother but I still love him... I think.
