Hi, I'm Jasmine "JJ" Jade Stephens, the 13 year old daughter of Jordan and Jade Stephens.
JJ's POV: So, I've just turned 13 years old and I've not been feeling 100% with the feeling that something has happened in my downstairs area.
I head up to the bathroom and sit on the toilet and pull my underwear down and there is just blood everywhere in my underwear. I grimance at the sight and think there's something really bad going on.
"Mummy!" I yell for my mam, really worried. I hear her footsteps coming up the stairs and her knocking.
"Are you alright in there, baby? Did you need me?" She inquires, worry in her voice.
"Mummy, something has happened, please come in and help." I ask her, getting a bit emotional. She comes inside and sees the blood in my underwear.
"Give me one second, baby." She tells me, popping out for a second and returning with a new pair of underwear and something else.
"It's alright, doll. You just got your period, it's completely normal." She tells me, kneeling in front of me. "There's nothing to worry about." She wipes my tears that have spilled."This is when we use this." She hands me the object in her hand. "This is a pad you use it to protect your underwear from getting all bloody, so hand me your old pair of undies and your trousers as there is a little bit of blood in them." She shows me how to use it and spon enough I'm feeling a lot better.
"Mummy, do you get a period?" I ask her, later that day when she's tucking me into bed. She nods and begins to explain "From when you were concieved, you have got these things in you called eggs. You use these eggs and and some male sperm to produce a baby. But if one of the eggs doesn't meet the sperm, it dies and blood comes out of your downstairs area, it happens every month. So, yeah, I have mine still and I've learnt how to cope with it. There is absolutely nothing to worry about, you are perfectly fine." I nod at her and she kisses my forehead and I end up falling asleep.
