Hi, I'm Lily Nicolette Thompson, the 5 year old former daughter of James and Rachel Thompson.

Lily's POV: "Get the fuck out the car now!" My daddy demands, stopping the car. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR LIVES!" I get out the car and mammy throws my remaining stuff at me which consists of my blankie and stuffed tiger. What have I done wrong? The door slams shut and they drive off, leaving me all alone on the side of the road. I pick up my stuff and decide to try to find some help.

Perrie's POV: My eye catches a little girl walking down the street all alone, looking absolutely petrified. My wife appears behind me and follows my gaze to this girl.
"We need to help her, Jade" I tell her, heading to the front door. "I'll go to her alone, she looks scared."

Lily's POV: I sit on a wall, hoping that somebody would help. And just like that, a lady comes up to me and asks "Hey there, sweetheart. Are you lost? Where's mammy or daddy?"
"They left me on the path, I dunno where they go" I reply, my bottom lip quivering and that's when she offers a hand.
"Come with me, we don't want you to get cold out here. I won't hurt you, I promise" The lady tells me, sweetly. I hesitate before taking her hand and allowing her to take me into her house.

"My name is Perrie and she is my wife Jade" She introduces me to an another lady who like Perrie seems very nice. "We're gonna take you to a hospital to make sure that you aren't injured in any way." I trust people very quickly and so I nod and allow them to take me to the hospital.
"We found this little girl abandoned by both parents" Perrie tells the receptionist at the hospital.
"Ah, hello, dear. Can I get your first name?" The lady at the desk inquires.
"It's Lily Thompson, miss" I reply, politely.

After the hospital trip Jade's POV: My wife seemed really happy with that little girl and they had a bond quite quickly. We have had the talk about adopting children since we can't have them biologically and I'm happy adopting when my girl is ready.
"Darling, you know we spoke about adoption?" I ask her and she nods. "I noticed that you had quite the bond with that lovely little girl."
"Are you saying that we adopt her?" She asks, hopefully making me smile and nod.
"She needs a place to call home so why not?" I respond, earning a massive smile on my wife's face. "Let's give her a forever home, eh?"

A few weeks later: We are currently in court in the process of adopting Lily.

"Mrs. Thirlwall, state why you'd like to adopt Lily?" The judge asks me, reading our adoption application.
"Well, we want to give Lily a happy home to live in and give her a happy and loving family." I state, honestly "Me and my wife adore this little girl and would love nothing more than to take her home." We go over some more stuff til the judge announces "I've reviewed everything and have made the decree that the two of you would make fantastic parents, so from this day forth, I legally accept Perrie and Jade Thirlwall the adoptive parents of Lily!" Before slamming the hammer down. Everybody cheers and our new daughter runs up to us and I pick her up.
