A few days later: I've just gotten home from school, just closing the front door when I see mum standing at the end of the hall.
"Hi, darling. How was school?" She asks in a positive tone, which is surprising since less than a week ago she was telling me that I was the biggest mistake she ever made.
"Hi, mum." I reply, taking my bag off and hanging it up. I look around awkwardly "School was alright". She sighs and asks "Can I talk to you?" I nod and follow her into the garden.

"First of all, I want to apologise for blaming you for breaking mama's phone without any proof. And then I also want to apologise for those horrendous comments I made earlier this week, I promise you that it meant nothing." She apologises, sweetly "I feel like a dreadful mother for acting like this so I hope you can forgive me." I hesitate, she did something that was wrong and horrible but at the end of the day no matter what, she'll always be my mum. I look up at her and reply "I forgive you, mum."

She pulls me into a cuddle before asking "How about me and you go head out for dinner tonight, just the two of us?" I nod, grinning.

At the resturant: "Order whatever you want, princess." Mum tells me, smiling. "Can I have a burger, please?" I ask, politely. She nods and we enjoy a pleasant mother/daughter meal with loads of laughs and fun.

As I said before she is my mum, no matter what.
