AJ's POV 9 months later: It's been 9 months since I found out that I was gonna be a father for the first time and I'm doing my english homework when Charlotte's mum Helen calls me.
"Alexander, Charlotte's gone into labour. Meet us at St. John's hospital!" Helen tells me, panicky.
"Alright, I'll be there soon" I respond, shutting my book. This is it, the next time that I arrive home, my little one will be with us. Me and Charlotte have decided that I have our child for Monday, Wednesday and Friday and she has them for the remainder of the days.At the hospital: My parents drove me here and are now here with me. Charlotte is in a intense amount of pain and it hurts me to see her like this.
"Am I gonna be a uncle?" Bradley asks, furrowing his eyebrows. I chuckle and nod, knowing what is to come in the next 4 hours.4 hours pass: My beautiful daughter is in my arms, I am in a state of complete awe looking down at her, who knew at my age that I'd be in a hospital holding my newborn daughter?
"Congratulations to the both of you, I know that you both are under 16 so therefore most of the custody will be placed upon your parents whom we've already talked to." The doctor explains, I understand why this is happening. We are still technically children.
"In the meantime, you still have the right to name the child" The nurse tells us "Do we have a picked out name?"I look at my girlfriend, we haven't really thought of names, since I've only just fully accepted being a father.
"Well, what do you think?" I ask her and she replies, confidently "I've been thinking about the name Aaylah... What about Aaylah Grace Oxlade-Chamberlain?"
"Absolutely perfect, love" I tell her, grinning. "A gorgeous name for our gorgeous little princess"4 months earlier: We've decided that for when our daughter arrives into the world, she'll sleep in my bedroom so we've purchased a crib and since my dad likes doing things the extremely hard way, he bought a crib that you have to build by hand.
"Dad, can you hand me the screwdriver?" I request, holding a nail in place. He hands me the screwdriver and I put the final two pieces together, making me sigh in happiness.
"What do you think, eh?" I ask him, he just stays silent and purposely moves one leg, showing that I haven't actually nailed them all in.
"You may need to work on your woodwork skills, son" He replies, chuckling."Wow, this is looking great?" Mam compliments before noticing the seperated leg and jokes "I've seen better"
3 years from present: So, 3 years pass and I'm now 18 years old and still a happy father to a 3 year old beautiful little girl. She has my hair colour but my ex's eyes, yes you heard me. Ex girlfriend... she dumped and cheated on me and actually gave me custody over our daughter, telling me that she was incapable raising her.
"Daddy, when will mammy be back?" Aaylah inquires "She been gone for a year now."
"Don't worry about her, princess. You'll never have to see her again" I tell her, honestly. "She and daddy had a big argument and she went away." She pouts, but I just pull her into a cuddle."Daddy won't leave you ever" I whisper into her ear.
