After an hour long study date with Cedric where we talked more than doing any homework I went back to the common room which apart from Harry was oddly deserted.
"Hey there darlin." I smiled sitting down next to him.
"Do you think you could tell me about my parents again?" He whispered leaning his head on my shoulder.
"Like what?" I asked taking my shoes off and tucking my legs under myself.
"Anything." He sighed and I nodded
"Actually I'll be right back." I said running up to my room. I grabbed Pa's journal from my trunk and the locket. I ran downstairs giving the stuff to Harry then I went to the kitchen and got two mugs of hot chocolate and some cookies.
"Okay I'm ready." I said tucking my legs under myself while Harry laid his head in my lap.

"What's the book for?"
"It's my dad's journal, they all used to write in in all the time. The only problem is I've never figured out how to open it." I explained as Harry flipped through the seemingly empty pages
"Couldn't you just ask Professor Lupin?"
"Tried, James didn't tell him." I shrugged as he opened the locket
"Who's she?" He asked looking at the picture of Four year old me sitting on Diana's lap as we both smiled at the camera.
"That's Diana. She was my mom." I smiled
"Was?" He asked looking up at me
"She died when I was seven, just a few months before my eighth birthday." I sighed
"She was nice?"
"Delightful."
"Where do you think good people go when they die?" He asked looking at the family picture of us and our parents
"Diana used to tell me they stayed with us, and whenever you needed them they'd be there." I smiled
"I don't think I want to know what happened that night, I do but I don't."
"I don't even know the full story myself." I sighed as Ron walked into the common room with Neville and Dean
"Cheating on me? With Him?! Star how could you?!" Seamus yelled fake crying Harry laughed sitting up
"Oh Darlin, you know your the only one for me!" I yelled hugging him
"WHAT?!" Fred yelled coming down the stairs
"SHE'S REPLACING US FREDDIE?!" George yelled hugging Fred
"How many others? How many hearts are you going to break?!" Lee wailed throwing himself on the ground
