"He's at perfect liberty to kiss whomever he likes. I really couldn't care less. Was I under the impression he and I would be attending Slughorn's Christmas party together? Yes. Now, given the circumstances, I had to make other arrangements." I stood looking through my closet for a dress as I ranted to Hermione, Ginny, and Luna.
"It's not fair! Ron totally lead you on!" Ginny said angrily as she curled her hair
"She's right, Ronald made it seem like he really liked you up until he started snogging Lavender Brown every minute of the day." Luna sighed from where she sat painting Hermione's nails
"Oh I'm so telling mum." Ginny said throwing the dresses she wasn't going to wear on her bed
"Green or Pink?" I asked holding the dresses up for them to look at
"Pink, aren't you even remotely upset?" Hermione asked, I threw the green dress on my bed and put the pink one on.
"Well of course I'm upset, but Ron watched me be with Cedric for over a year now it's my turn to watch him be with Lavender. It's only fair, plus it's not like we ever established that we were together. Boots or heels?" I shrugged
"Boots, but you guys went on dates, you kissed him a few times if anything you'd been dating for months." Ginny said laying her stomach flipping aimlessly through a quidditch magazine probably waiting for Hermione to do her makeup
"But we didn't define it, neither one of us officially asked the other out so I don't have a right to be angry with him, if he's happy then I suppose I am too. Jacket or no jacket?" I asked
"No jacket, I thought the two of you had been together, his face always seemed to light up whenever you entered the room and yours did too. To be completely honest I always believed you liked Ron more than you liked Ced." Luna mumbled I nodded slightly agreeing
"I loved Cedric, but you're right I won't deny it. Cedric an I rushed our relationship, not that I'm not grateful for him or the memories I'd only been at Hogwarts for a few months when Cedric and I started dating. It's different with Ron it never feels rushed with him." I explained styling Luna's hair in front of the mirror.
"My brother would be an absolute idiot to let you go. I mean who else is going to wake up at 3 in the morning because he's sick and wants cookies?" Ginny laughed sitting down for Hermione to do her makeup
"You did that?" Hermione asked shocked looking up from doing Ginny's eyeliner to make eye contact with me in the mirror
"I felt bad! He looked so sad and he wanted cookies so I made some. No big deal, I'm sure you'd do it for Freddie." I shrugged sliding rings on my fingers
"I didn't even know he was interested in Lavender and he tells me everything." Ginny sighed
"He probably isn't." Hermione pointed out and we all nodded
"Ready to go?" Hermione asked and we all nodded leaning the dorm
