27. Saving Pa

I had been laying on my back looking up at the stars more specifically the Canis Major constellation when Harry laid down next to me.

"Your dad offered to let me live with you guys like you'd said." He mumbled and I smiled turning my head to look at him

"Can't wait. I don't think I could stand either of us goin back to our current livin situations" I sighed looking back up at the sky as Hermione laid on the other side of me after making sure buckbeak was securely tied to a tree.

"You think they'll let you stay with your dads?" Hermione asked hopefully and there was a moment of silence before I shook my head

"I want them too but Dumbledore told me after the Christmas holiday that the Walsh's have to approve of it, like sign a bunch of paper work or somethin. They'd never do that." I laughed sadly

"It's just not fair, they're your dads." Harry said angrily sitting up

"Yea Harry but the minister doesn't exactly think highly of either one, so who knows what will happen." I mumbled getting up as it was almost time to go.

"I jus-"

"We'll figure it out later I promise." I sighed cutting Harry off before walking over to buckbeak.

Hermione and Harry ran off to the black lake and I went to sneak Peter away from the ground.

After grabbing the frozen man and levitating him back to buckbeak I waited for Harry and Hermione so we could fly over to Flitwick's office.

"This whole thing is your fault you know?" I whispered to the frozen man who I knew wasn't able to respond but he could hear me.

"Everything that Harry and I have been through. It wouldn't have happened if you'd of just said no. Or gave him the wrong location, all you had to do was be a good friend." I laughed as my eyes watered a bit

"But then again a prophecy is a prophecy so if not you then it would have been someone else. Someone would have betrayed my family either way, even if it wasn't you. You just happened to be the first to say yes, because you're weak and weak people need a protector. But you chose the wrong one so remember that when you're locked up, good always wins." I ramble off not really sure of what I was saying before I let out yet another sigh as I waited for Harry and Hermione to come back.

"So what now?" Harry asked confused

"We go to Flitwick's office, we get my dad out and we put Peter in. Unfortunately we don't have time for much else." I explained as we climbed on buckbeak and Peter was being levitated by Hermione.

Once we arrived we quickly freed pa and not so gently shoved Peter through the window. Then buckbeak landed at the entrance to the castle

"Star, a word please?" He mumbled and I nodded as we walked away for a bit of privacy

"I missed you." I mumbled as he pulled me into his arms

"I missed you too my little Star. It will take awhile for my name to be cleared even with Peter but when it does I promise everything will be as it was."

"I love you, now go. We've gotta get back and you can't be seen." I rushed hugging him one last time before he got on buckbeak and flew away.

Once we were in the castle we split up and I snuck back into my dorm with a smile on my face. He was going to be free, I could leave the Walsh's soon because my pa was going to be free. Of course I'd still have to go back for a bit but I had a plan. One that involved a certain blonde cousin of mine.

I was running through the corridor, I had two things I had to do. One talk to Draco and two talk to Moo about last night.

"Star!" I heard someone call from behind me and I turned to see just the person I'd been looking for.

"Dray, did you do it?" I asked running towards him. And he nodded as he lead me to an abandoned class room.

"Father said he was able to get your trace removed in return for the potion." He smiled hugging me with a laugh.

Two weeks ago I'd had a feeling I'd need to get my magic trace removed before the end of term so I'd went to Draco, offering his father a deal I'd make him a potion a very complex and very illegal potion and he'd get my trace removed. I wasn't sure what the potion did but I made it anyway because from the ingredients I could tell it was a poison antidote of some kind.

"Now as for you my dear cousin. This is for you." I laughed handing him the Felix Felicis he asked me for. Something about wanting to win a bet against Blaise and Theo. Once I left Draco I ran to the DADA office

"Moo! I- you're leaving?" I asked looking around the room and he nodded

"It's for the best my dear, it's far to dangerous. If you hadn't of brought that potion with you last night which don't think we won't be talking about how you brewed illegal potions, I don't want to think about what could have happened." He sighed kissing my head

"But nothing happened, you had your potion and everything worked out just they way it was supposed too." I explained

"While that maybe be true, it is still a risk I'm not willing to take."

"Fine, but here. It's the rest of my supply." I said pulling three large bottles of the wolfsbane potion I'd made.

"How long have you been making these?" He asked shocked and I just smiled

"That's for me to know and you to never find out. I've gotta go, I love you Moo." I laughed running quickly hugging him before I ran all the away to the gryffindor common room and up to my dorm to pack my trunk.
