My Rule

Chapter 13

I felt my blood go boiling mad, but with a burning passion. I filled my body up with lust and love. And I spotted the one thing I needed the most right now. Carl Grimes.

I got up and bolted to the axe in my cell and grabbed it. I took it and swung it at the bars of my cell madly. I pulled at them and swung the axe trying to break the metal so I could get to Carl. I pulled at the bars and was able to bend then at least. I then crawled out of my cell and grabbing the axe and swinging it at the bars breaking them.

I breathed heavily and dropped the axe and climbed into his cell. He just looked at me with a 'What now?' face on. I bent down in front of him and lingered for a while. 'Fuck My Rule, he's too important.' I thought. And with that, I kissed him full force on the lips.

Carl's P.O.V

I watched her murder the bars of our cell and watched her come down and kneel in front of me. And I was too stupid to know what would happen next. The love of my life had kissed me. She tugged at my shirt and her hands made their way through my hair. I grabbed her sides and her thighs and started making out with her. It was rough and quick at first, but then we calmed it down a bit and it became slow and passionate. I truly did love her.

"Now do you believe me?" She asked with some years flowing down her face. I smiled and wiped her tears away kissing her head whispering yes. She smiled and then laid down next to me and hugged me tightly. I was the happiest boy in the world right now.

We sat there for a while and just embraced each other when we heard someone coming down the hallway. It was Maggie. She gasped and she ran over to our cell and saw us together hugging.

"Um.... aren't you guys uh..... supposed to be.... um, m-mad at each o-other? Maybe?" She stuttered. She was speechless, and it was funny. "No, were better now. We made up." I said looking down at my sweetheart and back to Maggie. She looked at us and then walked away like she was given the hardest math problem in the world.

I looked down to Lilly and we started laughing hysterically. Once we calmed down I looked at her serious and asked her something

Something I've wanted to say for a long time. "Do you wanna be my apocalypse partner?" I breathed. She smiled and kissed my lips.

"Does that answer your question?" She asked smugly walking out of the cell. Damn she was bad, my she was only going to be bad for me.

My P.O.V

I was so happy. I finally had lifted my burden of my mom's death and My Rule. I felt like such a big weight lifted off my shoulders. I felt like I could do anything.

We got dressed and went outside to kill walkers. There wasn't so many so once we were done we just sat down on the grass talking and embracing each other. I kept looking at him.

"What?" He asked chuckling. I sat up and looked out on the fields. "You know, for once in my life I just feel free. I feel as if I have been in a dark room unarmed with a walker trying to kill me, but now I feel as if a magical gun appeared out of no where and I finally killed it." I said. He smiled and squeezed my hand saying, "You're welcome!" We started laughing and soon walked back inside.

At dinner we decided to tell everyone about our new relationship. Carl got up and climbed his cup with his knife. "Everyone I have something to say." He said looking at me. I got up and he put his arm around my waist and I put mine in the middle of his back.

"I have found, my courageous, beautiful, wonderful partner." He said.

"And I have found my brave, handsome, and extraordinary partner." I said.

Everyone started clapping and cheering for us. We kissed slightly and carried on with dinner.

After that I showered and changed into my pajamas. I felt arms wrap around my waist and Carl's head on my shoulder. "Come on, it's cold." He said. We walked over to our bed and got under the covers together holding each other close. I finally for this past month I've been here, and for the past 5 years, was able to have a relaxing, perfect night sleep, with the one I love.
