Glenn was running out for supplies today along with Maggie and Daryl. I didn't know this until I woke up and saw them outside.
I ran outside to go hug Maggie goodbye. I ran into her and hugged her tightly.
"Lills, I'll be home by tomorrow morning. I promise." She said.
I nodded and let her go. I waved goodbye and she waved back. I knew that she would be okay with Glenn and my 'dad'. I just hoped that they would come back alive.
The rest of the day Carl and I had tried to pick the good vegetables in the garden. It was hard because of the snow, but we got a few ones that haven't quite gone bad yet.
Carl tried to pick a carrot out of the ground. He kept pulling but it was stuck. I started laughing.
"Having some trouble there babe?" I asked smirking.
He flipped me off and I laughed even harder. He then pulled it out of the ground and fell back. I started laughing hysterically and he got up and threw it in the basket.
We walked back and washed the veggies to put them away in the freezer.
"Babe, you know I love you so much, right?" He said.
"I know Carl, you tell me everyday." He smiled and hugged me.
"I just want to make sure my baby is mine and mine only." He said. "I can't risk losing you too." I smiled and kissed his lips.
After washing everything, we all ate a nice dinner with lots of veggies. We had to eat them before they went bad.
"I'm glad everyone is enjoying the food. Good thing we took care of them, because someone forgot to pick them before it snowed." Rick said looking at Carl.
