Chapter 39

These past few days have been very dramatic. But I've met a few friends here so far. But some of us have not gotten to be so friendly with each other.

Adan and Glenn had a fight today. It was scary too because it was a bloody fight. I didn't see the while thing, but I just saw some punches being thrown then Rick taking care of it.

I have my own room with Brianna. She's pretty cool. She is a year older than me but a lot of fun. She is very spunky and has a good taste in clothes.

"So you got a boyfriend? She asked me laying in her bed. I sat down on mine and smiled shaking my head no.

"Oh I don't believe that. You're too pretty." She said. I smiled and laughed. "I had a boyfriend." I said looking out the window seeing Carl picking up Enid and twirling her around. "But he broke up with me. For her." I said sadly. She got up and looked outside. "Nah. They won't last. He's gonna come running back to ya." She said laughing.

"How do you know? I asked.

She chuckled sitting down on her bed. "Because I know. Things won't work out with those two." She said. "Okay." I said having a little hope in my heart.

"Why don't I show you around." She said getting up. I nodded and got up.

We walked out and she showed me lots of cool things. She showed me the weapon room which was huge! I loved it.

"Oh my God! You have AK's!" I said. "Yup. My dad's got tons of them from my grandfather. You can use the if you want." I chuckled and said thanks. This place was perfect.

She took me outside to the training arena. Oh I was going to love this. "You know I used to do all kinds of karate when I was little. That's probably a reason why I'm still alive." I said chuckling. "You're alright kid." She said. I smiled. I felt like I was at home.

"So I see you have these search towers. Why?" I asked.

"Ah well we just want go see if anything else is happening outside of Alexandria. You know lots of-"

I was totally engaged in her response until I saw a beautiful person in one of the search towers. I swear I could've heard the Pony song on right now. He had quiffed blonde hair and icy blue eyes. He had a beautiful figure and I bet I was drooling. Damn he was hot.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Brianna asked me if I was listening. "Yeah, yeah I'm listening... but who's that?" I asked. She looked up and saw what I saw. "Oh yeah, that's Zachary. But people call him Zach for short. He's my cousin." She said.

I looked at her in disbelief. "That's your cousin?" I asked with my mouth wide open. "Yeah. I haven't seen him for a while before this started, but when I did, I wished I wasn't his cousin anymore. He was ugly when he was little." She said laughing. "Puberty works wonders!"

"Yes, yes it does." I said with my eyes still focused on Zach.

We all then went in for dinner. Carol was helping them make it. And it was deliciousness. There was literally a party in my tummy. Haha.

When it was time for bed I took a long hot shower. I walked back up into my shared room with Brianna and saw fresh clothes on my bed. It was a black tank top that had a band name on it with black leggings. Oh Brianna.

I changed into my leggings and was about to put my shirt on when I heard someone coming in.

"Brianna I told you go stop taking my headphones...". I turned around covering my chest and then flushed the fifty shades of red. It was Zachary.

"Oh my God... I'm sorry!" He said. "Its alright" I said. I didn't want him to leave. "Hold on." He turned around and I quickly put on my shirt. "Okay." I said.

He turned back smiling in embarrassment and said.He was sorry once again. But then he made a sly face and smirked. "You're new here aren't ya?" He said slyly. I nodded without knowing what to say.

"Well I'm Zachary. But you can call me Zach." He said extending a hand out. I reached for it and went to shake his hand, but instead he pulled me into him. He grabbed a fistful of my hair inhaled my scent.

"Ahhh. Woodbury Prison huh?" He said looking down on me. I slowly nodded. I really didn't know if we were from Woodbury or not. I didn't care though.

He rolled his neck and gently squeezed my sides. I gasped a little and he laughed holding my cheek. "Its about time we get a pretty girl here." He said tracing my jaw with his finger. I smiled and held onto his arms.

"You're a bit of a flirt aren't you?" I asked slowly looking up at him. He lowered himself down to my level wrapping his arms around my waist. "You have no idea." He purred.

"Uh-mmm Zach." I saw Brianna in the doorway with her hands on her hips. "What Bri?" He asked still looking at me. "Adan wants you. There's some trouble with the Korean guy." She said smiling. I gasped. He rolled his eyes looking back down at her. "Cant you see I'm kinda busy at the moment?" "You want to be thrown into the basement again? Or do you want to help?" She asked. He gritted his teeth then looked back down at me. "Till tomorrow my beautiful Lilly-Pad." He said walking out.

Brianna rolled her eyes pushing him out shutting the door. "What a sleaze." She said falling on her bed reading a magazine. "He seemed, nice." I said. She smiled and said, "Eh, he can be a whore sometimes but whatever. He's still my cousin and I love him. Ready for bed?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"Night Lills." She said.

"Good night." I said.
