Chapter 61 (IM BACK!!!)

*Third Person P.O.V*

By morning we all went outside and Rick was telling us what to do. I could sense people were scared of him ever since the incident with Pete. Suddenly we felt the ground cracking.

"Look at that!" Sasha said. We looked in a direction and saw the walkers push the truck off the cliff.

"Holy shit." I mumbled.

"ITS OPEN! WE GOTTA DO THIS NOW!" Rick yelled. Everyone started running all over the place and running to get to their positions.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I sat on the roof looking out to the hills in the distance. I thought about everything that has happened in the last five years. Carl climbed up and sat next to me. I put my hand on his and gave it a squeeze.

The next day...

Everyone still was going with the plan. The teens and children have been getting better, but they're still shaken up. We've been mostly staying inside and helping out more with chores lately. Also, the older children have had some training whenever the adults get the chance. In a World like this, you only get one chance to live or die.

In the afternoon we started filling up bags with dirt. I didn't exactly know what it was for, but whatever.

Carl walked next to me and leaned down to kiss my lips and temple. Smiling, he walked on. Brianna hip bumped me a little and Zach raised his eyebrows. I smiled and looked away turning red.

"LOOK OUT!" Someone yelled. Walkers started coming in the walls and people started screaming. I jumped over a small dirt hill and grabbed my gun but Maggie took my arm and pulled me away.

"Let them do this Lilly!" She said.

"Use your shovels! Guns will draw more of  'em!" Rick said.

"Help us!" They begged and tried kicking them away. Their attempts were horrible, and petty. Rick decided that we would show them how it's done. I run up to a walker and swing my shovel in its head knocking it clean off. Blood splattered onto my clothes, staining them for life.

Once they were killed, everything went silent. You could literally only hear the heavy breaths everyone was taking.

"You said don't take chances anymore." Morgan said.

Rick looked at everyone silently. They glared at him.

Nothing was said.

Day 3...

We're still continuing our plan. Connor died today. Got bit right in the face. Rick shut him up though. Gosh, I'm so hungry. I've been trying to fast for a few meals, but I just end up eating everything. I save some for Judith too. Carl and I both do. She's growing up fast. She's going to be beautiful.

Rick told everyone the plan, and they all set out. Hopefully today will 've our last day and all the walkers would be in the hole.

Unfortunately, our plan backfired. Like always.

Some strange horn went off and no one knew what was going on.

"What is that?!" I screamed.

"I don't know!" Brianna said looking all around. I climbed up into the truck and looked over the trees.

"THEY'RE ALL GOING INTO THE WOODS!"
