Chapter 54

Carl's arm tightened around my waist as I rolled over to him and smiled. He smiled back at me and groaned good morning in his cute morning voice. His regular voice was deep but his morning voice was like Morgan Freeman. Yes I am exaggerating but still.

"How was your night?" I asked smugly.

"My night was absolutely so fricken amaz-" He said lying me in for a kiss but got interrupted by a quick opening of the door. It slammed into the wall hard, which would definitely leave a mark there. My heart sunk six feet under the ground when I saw who was at the door.

It was Enid.

She saw us and her mouth gaped open and we started at her in astonishment. She clenched her fists and screamed loudly.

"I KNEW IT!!!"

She ran off and Carl and I quickly got our shirts and pants on. She ran down the hall and we all saw everyone from this morning outside with the Leader of Alexandria and Pete yelling at the kids. Rick was yelling at all of us too. They ended up fighting. They stopped soon though.

We ran outside and Enid was trying to tell them what she saw. I squeezed Carl's arm to hold him back from hurting her. Rick yelled at her to shut up. Then he continued to tell at us.

"You people have no idea how to lead a group like this! You are all so irresponsible and terrible to each other! Some people want to kill others! We need to stay alive! You don't know how to run a survival group properly, to run a family properly. This is why I need to lead! You guys have no idea what you're doing! I'm tired of it! I'm taking a stand! I'm going to-"

He was out cold.

Michonne had punched him hard in the face. Rick fell over and onto the ground hard. I gasped and held onto Carl's arm. He gasped at his dad's fall. Rick was bleeding from his nose and his mouth.

We looked at Michonne and she looked back at us in anger.

Have we all really just gone mad?
