My Rule

Chapter 24

I woke and got out of bed quickly. I ran to go see if Maggie was in her cell, but she wasn't. I looked in Daryl's cell to and he also wasn't there! Something was wrong.

I walked down to Rick and I saw him with all the adults. They had worried looks on their faces.

"Rick, where's everyone?" I asked.

He looked away then back at me. "I don't know Lilly. But we're going to figure it out." I got scared. Are they okay? We're they caught? Whatever their status was, we are going to bring them home. And I'm going to kill someone for it.

I put on a slim- fit navy green long sleeve shirt with black jeans and my combat boots. I put my hair in a ponytail braid, and looked at myself in the mirror.

I know how to make myself look good.

"Damn babe." Carl said walking in. I jumped and then smiled at him. "You know it's only going to take us a little while to get them back home, right?"

I nodded my head. "Yea." "Well now I won't be able to concentrate because I will be looking at you the entire time." He said smirking. I lightly punched him in the stomach and he took my hand and whirled me to him.

"Babe, listen. We know where they are. Don't worry." He said. I looked away saying okay. He kissed my temple and we walked out to go load up.

I took 2 packs of bullets and strapped them to my belt. I was going to have no mercy for this run. I opened my gun sticking a pack of bullets in it, then clicking it closed.

I walked out and sighed. Why did it have to be winter? Rick, Michonne, Carl and I were all going. The rest were going to stay home and look after Judith. We all got in the car and drive off. I napped in the car on Carl. I needed to save my energy for finding them.

I felt the car stop and Rick cursed banging on the steering wheel. He ran out of the car and opened up the front of it. Michonne got out and went to help him.

I turned to Carl alarmed. "What's going on?" I asked.

"The car is being stupid. There was still a half of tank of gas, but I guess it burned out." He said rolling his eyes.

I could see Rick arguing with Michonne outside. They both looked pissed. Uuggghh. We're never going to find them.

About 20 minutes went by and Carl and I played eye spy.

"Okay your turn." He giggled.

"I spy.... something angry." I said snickering.

"My dad?" He asked. I laughed and we said yea.

"I spy..... a beautiful girl." He said looking at me.

I looked around and looked up in a tree. " MOM?! IS THAT YOU?" We burst out laughing. I am pretty funny if I do say so myself. "Nah I'm kidding I know it's me. I'm irresistible." I joked. Carl laughed and said, "Yeah well I'm sexy." I laughed saying sure. "Okay it's your turn." He said.

I looked out the window and saw something moving. "I spy...... something..... something.... what is that?" I said confused. I thought I could see Glenn in the open. But I wasn't sure.

"Carl? Is that Glenn maybe?" I asked.

He looked out and his eyes widened. "Maybe.. yea I think it is!" We got out of the car quickly and saw Glenn running fast.

"Glenn!" We a said excitedly. But as he came closer, I could make out  his worried face. "Glenn what's wrong?" Michonne called.

"You have to get out! Leave! We have to-" he said but getting interrupted by a glass bottle hitting his head. He fell to the ground and we all backed away gasping.

Then some guy hit Rick with a shovel and Rick fell to the ground. Michonne pulled out her sword but the guys chloroformed her. I felt some guy pick me up and I flailed my arms trying to get out of his grip. Carl tried fighting the man but he kicked him in the gut.

I was able to get a grip on his hands and I bit his hand hard. The guy yelled in pain and threw me on the ground. I hit the ground and ran over to Carl. We tried to get in the car but I felt the guy hit me in the back of the head.

I got dizzy and light headed. I tried to get to Carl but I fell to the ground seeing my world go black.
