Melancholy music in the background was perfectly defining the mental state Jeon Jungkook was in as he gulped the entire glass of vodka at once letting its strong taste scorch the back of his throat. His eyes were fiery red in color, having to force back the tears that were burning his eyes as he recalled the event that had occurred in the penthouse of the Hotel Voyage.

Despite the dim light in the bar, Jimin could clearly see the agony his beloved brother was going through. The effect of the heated discussion that took place with Hana was hurting his ego and at the same time, the words spoken by Daniel were hunting his mind. Even gallons and gallons of liquor couldn't stop those words spoken by Daniel from bouncing back and smashing his heart into pieces.

"Jk, stop" Jimin held his hand stopping him from chucking down another glass of liquor.

"It's not that Hana has rejected the idea of being with you, all she needs is some time, so you should wait for her to figure out her feelings" Jimin suggested in a hope that it will ease Jungkook's pain.

"What if she doesn't come to me Hyung, what if my love is doomed to turn into dark love" he stuttered as even the possibility that his love would remain unreciprocated made him wanna go berserk.

"When Daniel asked me what would I do If she was my dark love, all I could think was I would destroy the universe but not let her go" Jungkook choked remembering how darkness had instantly consumed his sense as soon as Daniel had popped the question to him.

The only thing that rang in his mind was that he would never let his love end as a one-sided relationship. Even if he had to burn the world to the ground he would make her his. However, these intense emotions also scared him to death because it was his first time experiencing them.

To be honest, Jungkook had never bothered to date or even hook up with anyone. One of the main reasons is the morals he was brought up with. Considering how highly the mate bond was worshipped by their ancestors, Sex with someone who is not your mate was considered a shame in Uchiha Family.

His father only loved his mother and all of his brothers followed in their father's footsteps and never even glanced at another woman besides their wife. His own brother, Uchiha Taehyung was ready to give away his throne for the sake of the woman he loved, therefore Jungkook grew up with strong principles regarding relationships and love.

"Kiss the woman you will marry" his mother had taught him since his childhood hence all his life he was basically waiting for his mate to appear so that he could also be part of that magic his father and his brothers had got to experience.

Though Jungkook had never verbalized his thoughts in the form of words, Jimin had always been aware of his hidden desires. The most notable story was how Uchiha Mijaki annihilated an entire dynasty to marry the woman he loved, Lily who was originally named Nurbana, the daughter of a sultan from Persiyana on the Island of Islana who was against Uchiha regimes.

Nurbana was almost burnt to death by her own family for committing the crime to love someone outside of her religion and ethnicity when Mijaki launched an attack on the empire and eliminated everyone who tried to harm his soulmate and married her.

If he was an arrogant jerk, Hana was a stubborn button so he was sure that until the end she would deny him. Now he had started to have a doubt about her and even suspected that she was hurting him on purpose. Maybe because she just loved seeing him miserable or maybe she was sadistic but whatever she was he knew he was doomed to love her and only her.

The day he first saw her was still so vivid in his mind. As a tradition of Voclaunore, there were huge parties organized to welcome new students in every dorm. Jungkook would rarely attend such parties as he was never interested in socializing outside of his circle but Sehun had forced him to join the costume party in Elite's dorm where they could easily hide their identity and enjoy.

At the party, Hana prominently stood out because she was the only person without any costume on. Apparently, she had no idea that it was a costume party and showed up in a simple pair of jeans and a white top making her the star of the night without her knowing.

The embarrassed look on her face was the most adorable thing he had witnessed and for the first time in his life, he felt something that was supposed to be impossible for a being like him: That night somehow she had managed to become the beat of his still heart.
