Exhausted from the training, Jassabella was discretely taking a nap in the middle of her part-time job behind her desk in a seemingly empty library, when a shrilling voice of a girl screaming at someone made her jolt up in fright.

"You made me look like a fool in front of my friend. I clearly told you I wanted a diamond choker, not a necklace"

She was stomping her feet disregarding the fact that they were in a silent zone as the boy standing in front of her was trying his best to explain himself in a very low voice. He proceeded to touch her arms lightly but she jerked his hand away with disgust evident on her face and screaming break-up, she marched her way out of the library.

"What a brat?" Jassabella scoffed when she noticed the guy hanging his head low was non-other than the second prince of Bethory family, Beomgyu Bethory.

As if he could sense her eyes on him, the prince snapped his head towards her and when he recognized who she was, his harsh glare softened.

"Hey" Jassabella gave an awkward wave and he returned her greeting with an embarrassed smile.

Jogging towards her desk he bowed down to her leaving Jassabella flabbergasted.

"Wasnt I supposed to do that?" Jassabella spoke with nervousness tingling in her voice.

"No no, I do that to everyone" He scratched his back and Jassabella nodded her head trying to figure out how to make the conversation between them less gauche.

"Your girlfriend seems to be very angry" she stated then mentally slamming her head at the choice of her topic as it would definitely make things between them worst.

"It's actually my mistake. I didn't know the difference between a choker and a necklace. But she doesn't actually mean what she just said. She will come around." Jassabella had her mouth wide open listening to him finding it hard to believe that he was the younger brother of the same man who insulted her friend last week at the lunch.

"Are you really related to Sehun Bethory? Don't get offended but I think one of you is adopted" Beomgyu couldn't help but titter at her word shaking his head.

"I am so sorry for my elder brother's behavior. He really shouldn't have behaved in such a crude manner with a lady. It might be hard to believe but he isn't bad from his heart. He once loved a Neander too but she ran off with another man on their engagement day. Ever since he has grown very bitter" Jassabella's lips morphed into an 'oh' as she learned the reason behind the crown prince of Carabian's bad attitude toward mortal and her views about him somewhat changed.

It was actually understandable why Sehun would be so resentful toward mortal however she still couldn't forgive him for shunning her best friend.

"Still that doesn't give him the right to humiliate Hana" she voiced out her thought and Beomgyu agreed.

"Anyways are you sure about your girlfriend?"

Beomgyu narrowed his eyes not understanding what she was hinting so Jassabella proceeded to elaborate.

"I mean breaking up for the simplest of reasons only shows the other person doesn't take the relationship seriously. After all, every time she says break up it's like creating a crack in the relationship. It won't last and it's not worth it" Jassabella was aware that she was in no place to give relationship advice to the prince but she also knew he probably didn't have anyone to give him honest feedback. Otherwise, she saw no reason for a prince from a founding Royal family like him to be with someone who treated him so poorly.

Beomgyu went silent for a while then taking a deep breath in, he shrugged his shoulder conveying he had no other choice causing a frown to appear on Jassabella's face.

"I am a vessel" he revealed and her eyes went wide.

"Trust me, it's not easy to find someone to be with you when your body has been used to stash away an ancient being that could crack out anytime. Even having friends is tough so a real relationship..." he let out a bitter scoff.

"...at least she pretends to be in love with me sometimes" Jassabella's heart sunk hearing his word because the consequences of being a vessel weren't new information to her.

Ancient demons/beasts known as Thirios were sealed inside a living being which would be called a vessel. Only a person who matched the element of the ancient beast and has the capability to contain its energy inside them would be bestowed with their power.

However, a few decades ago some terrorist group had gained control of one of the Thirios and unleashed the disaster that took the lives of thousands of civilians, as well as members of Founding royal families inducing the fear of Thirios in the general public. The vessel was then viewed as a threat to the existence of every living creature instead of their protector.

Not to mention, a vessel sometimes could lose its control over Thirios therefore they had to live a life of isolation to prevent themselves from harming people around them.

Jassabella couldn't help but feel bad for the prince but couldn't accept that just because he was a vessel he didn't deserve a normal relationship.

"So what you are a vessel? you will bear your girlfriend mistreating you?" Jassabella began in a stern voice.

"honestly, you must be glad that toxic people are getting filtered automatically in your life and a few of them that have escaped the screening must be kicked out too without any excuse" she added folding her arms over her chest.

"It's easy to say, tell me would date a guy knowing he is a vessel?" getting defensive Beomgyu inquired with a gruff in his tone.

"Of course, If I love him, even if he is the Thirios himself I would date him, marry him, and have children with him," Jassabella responded in a slipt second.

"Oh really then why did you leave?" his voice rose a pitch higher and when he realized what he had blurted out he cupped his mouth.

"What?" Jassabella narrowed her eyes not understanding what he meant.

"Nevermind" Beomgyu quickly brushed it off with panic evident in his eyes.

"Forget it, I need to leave" Saying so he hastened away from the dumbfounded girl before she would throw more questions at him.

"What did he even mean?" she wondered but was unable to figure out the meaning behind his word.

Unknown to her, Jimin was standing behind a shelf and watching the entire interaction from the gap between the books. Intense emotions were swirling throughout his body and he could swear if his heart would beat like a mortal then by this time it would break free from its ribcage and land on his palms.

Taking multiple deep breaths in, he attempted to calm his nerves down, and when he finally succeed to relax a relieved smile graced his lips.

"Of course. If I love him, even if he is the Thirios himself I would date him, marry him, and have children with him" her words resonated in his mind and a treacherous tear slipped his eyes.
