Jaemin followed Jeno when the tall vampire approached the window and opened it, letting the cool air of the night enter the dark room. It was past midnight now and the moon was visible through some thin clouds that were sometimes covering it. Jeno rested his hands by the cold sill and looked at the trees from the front of the forest. 

"How?" Jaemin finally asked while his fists clenched. "How did you hide yourself so well?" 

A chuckle left Jeno's throat when he suddenly turned around a bit and gave the raven haired vampire the darkest glare possible. His silver eyes were glowing in the darkness while his claws appeared. His small action made Jaemin laugh and show his claws as well. 

"Don't piss me off." The vampire stepped forward and grabbed his chin. One of his claws left a small scratch on his perfect skin, but Jeno didn't do anything besides smirking. Jaemin's lips also formed a cruel smile while he tightened his grip. "You think this is funny? Because it isn't. You stepped inside this school pretending you're a stupid mortal the whole time. Do you know what that makes me and the rest?" 

"Stupid?" Jeno asked and blinked with innocence which only angered Jaemin more. He quickly pushed his hand away and shoved the other vampire, making Jaemin stumble. "I know who you are. You're that guy who is next to the throne right? I recognized you from your name so don't think of me as stupid because I wouldn't dare harm our next king." 

Jaemin gulped and stared at him in shock. There were very few vampires that knew the prince's identity and in that school, only the principal knew, along with Sungchan, Jisung and Renjun, so how could a vampire he barely met few days ago, know who he was?

"I don't know what you're talking about." Jaemin chuckled and ran a hand through his hair, trying to act as normal as he could. If he gave Jeno the impression that he wasn't whom he thought he was, then maybe the young vampire would decide to ignore that matter. He was told countless times by his father to keep his identity safe because there were many greedy vampires who were after the royal family. "You got the wrong person. No one knows how the prince looks like." 

After hearing his reply, Jeno laughed and pushed himself from the window. As he was approaching the raven haired vampire, Jeno took off his necklace and played with the pendant when he stopped right in front of Jaemin. 

"Then why do you have this necklace?" His warm breath touched Jaemin's face a bit and he couldn't help but curse in his mind. He really was stupid after all. "You really are stupid." Jeno suddenly grabbed his necklace and compared it to his own. The two were almost the same and it took the brunette few moments to realize small yet important difference. They were so similar, but while his pendant showed the sun being surrounded by the half moon, Jaemin's showed the halfmoon inside the sun. 

The two necklaces resembled the two dynasties that were in war since 1800. They never got along and because of something that happened 150 years ago, when the lord from the Sun Dynasty murdered his opponent to have the throne, these two became deadly enemies. 

"You know what my promise to my dad was before I came here?" Jeno asked after backing away and putting his own necklace back. His smile didn't disappear while he glanced back at Jaemin, his silver eyes turning back to normal. "I promised him that I'll put your whole family in darkness." 

Jaemin widened his eyes. He already knew what his roommate meant. His dynasty was the light while Jeno's resembled the darkness and his declaration was one for a war. 

"I never thought it would be that easy to find the other prince." The brunette chuckled.

Jaemin jumped when his alarm rang in his ears. He looked around the room, already preparing himself to see his roommate glaring at him, but Jeno was nowhere. The raven haired vampire took a deep breath before he ruffled his hair. He barely slept after his discovery because he was too scared that the other vampire might kill him in his sleep.
