Dark Academia AU! Vampire AU!
When Jeno arrives at Sky Academy, he makes sure to turn everyone's lives into a complete hell. He has one mission, that is to change his own life into a better one and get revenge after what happened to his family. Wh...
"Who gave you vampire blood?" Donghyuck asked the moment he saw his best friend entering his room with another aura surrounding him. His pale skin finally looked healthy and when his eyes turned that red shade they used to turn in almost most of the time, the blonde haired vampire gasped. His hair was also back to its original color, with that platinum blond strike at the back. "Renjun, that's the power of a Silver Demon and Jaemin would never accept to help you."
"It wasn't him." Renjun replied, his eyes staring at something invisible to the blonde haired vampire. He sat down on Donghyuck's bed while a smirk formed his lips. Their eyes met when Renjun finally looked at him. "You're also a Silver Demon, but when you gave me blood it didn't work and you know why?" When Donghyuck shook his head, the brunette chuckled. "You're not a royal. You don't have royal blood in you that's why."
"What?" Donghyuck furrowed his brows in confusion. He then chuckled and ran a hand through his hair while he sat down next to his friend. One of his hands reached Renjun thigh. "There is no one with royal blood in this school. Did you left the campus or something? We all know that meeting the royals is something almost impossible, especially for a half breed like you."
Hearing his remark made Renjun flinch. A half breed like him? A half breed like him??? Was Donghyuck kidding or something?
"I'm a Death Angel." Renjun hissed while his eyes met Dongyuck's. "Not a half breed."
"I mean you were one though." The blonde haired male shrugged his shoulders and took off his hand from his friend's thigh. "You can't deny it your whole life Renjun. You need to learn to accept it." He said as he stood up and stretched his arms above his head. The blonde haired vampire glanced at his friend again. A smirk formed his lips. "If my blood didn't work, then who gave it to you this time?"
Renjun showed a smile. He wasn't that stupid to tell him who helped him gain his powers back. He already knew how Donghyuck was. Always keen on manipulating others to receive information. Luckily, Renjun got used to his behavior really easy.
"You don't need to know yet." The brunette stood up as well and sighed. "What's important is that this vampire helped me and now I can get my hand on that crown."
Donghyuck chuckled and approached him. The blonde haired vampire ran a hand through his friend's hair while his eyes landed on Renjun's exposed collarbone. The brunette already knew what was going on. His best friend felt inferior to that mysterious vampire that managed to help him get his powers back.
"You know..." Renjun started, his eyes drifting away from the door, onto his friend's face. "You can help me in other ways, not by giving me blood." His lips formed a wicked smile, showing his sharp teeth a bit. The shorter already knew that Donghyuck got his message, because the blonde haired vampire backed away and chuckled. "That time, Jaemin realized it too fast what I was doing, but this time, I might have a chance."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Donghyuck was wandering the corridors of the empty school that evening. His eyes were looking around the place, landing on random pictures that decorated the plain walls. It was already dark outside, making the school creepier than usual. Some candles were already ignited, letting their flames send dancing shadows on the surface of the walls. They really looked like trapped souls that tried to dance their way out of there with no luck.
Sighing loudly, the blonde haired vampire made his way upstairs, towards the third floor. He made sure no one was following him, because he wasn't like Renjun, a stupid half breed that thought he was the center of this world. He actually thought most of the time. A smirk formed his lips while his claws appeared and his eyes turned golden.
"Where is he?" He whispered under his breath while reaching the top of the staircase. "Where are you hiding you idiot?" He whispered again, this time stopping right before the first stair. His eyes scanned the silent and empty corridor of the third floor. In his left, he saw only golden candles lighting the hallway while in his right, he saw light coming from the library. A creepy smile formed his lips while he made his way towards the open door.
The only sound that filled the corridor were his footsteps. Each time he stepped on the glossy floor, his shoes made a deaf sound, alerting the person that was hiding in the library. Donghyuck finally stopped in front of the entrance. He looked inside but frowned when he saw no one. As he stepped inside, he looked in his right, to make sure the librarian wasn't there. The middle age woman wasn't there so he was safe.
Taking a deep breath, the young vampire slowly made his way through the rows of shelves filled with books. His eyes still kept on looking around, but again, no sign of someone being there came to him. Where was he?
"Behind you." A voice suddenly said, making Donghyuck freeze in spot. A smirk formed his lips while he slowly turned around. "You seem to be having fun manipulating people at school." The tall vampire with brown hair said and showed a cold smile while his eyes turned from silver, back to their original dark color.
"Was I too obvious?" Donghyuck blinked with innocence before showing the same creepy smile from before. "He didn't realize anything though. He's too stupid."
"Everyone in this school is stupid." Jeno chuckled as he ran a hand through his hair. "Like, really stupid." The blonde haired vampire laughed and dropped himself on the floor, making the taller frown. "Is the floor comfortable?"
"It is." Donghyuck nodded and patted the spot next to him. "There are so many stuff I have to tell you. Damn, you don't even know how excited I am." He slightly punched his shoulder when Jeno sat down next to him. "And you even dared to pretend for almost a week you didn't know me." A pout formed his lips as he looked at his hands.
"You're being dramatic." Jeno mumbled but in Donghyuck's surprise, the brunette ruffled his hair. "What did I miss?" When the blonde haired male looked at him again and showed a wide smile, Jeno chuckled. "I have the feeling that you had too much fun."
"Well I got to play with Renjun a bit. He really trusts me after a whole year. He thinks we're meant to be best friends." Donghyuck sighed dramatically and rested his head by some random books behind. "Why did you give him blood though?" He then glanced at his real best friend, who had a really sinister smirk forming his lips.
"Do you know who Jaemin is?" Donghyuck scoffed at his question. "So you know." Jeno mumbled and hugged his knees to his chest. "Any vampire hunters?"
At his second question though, Donghyuck cleared his throat. The blonde haired vampire already knew his friend realized how anxious he was. Jeno knew him too well after all.
"There are three. I hope there aren't any more besides them."
"Who?"
Donghyuck met his dark eyes. "Mister Jung and your new friends, Mark and Chenle. Be careful around them from now on. Mark is an unpredictable guy so from the moment he saw you with that stupid book in your hands, he knew something was up. Also, why the fuck did you borrow a book you read three times already?"
Jeno didn't reply though. He was too shocked by the sudden news.
