Jaemin stood on the other side of the fence, his hands gripping onto the metal, while his eyes were glued onto the school. There were still people exiting the building that was on flames by now. Orange flames that could melt your bones, those kind of flames you expected to see in hell, were dancing their way out of the windows. No one knew what might have happened that a fire was started, but no one would ever expect for two students to start it. Jaemin glanced at Jisung. The young vampire reflected the flames in his dark eyes as he was staring at the burning school as if he didn't believe it himself. They did it. They started the fire and because the building was so old and made of wood, it burned quicker. They weren't going to save it, the prince thought as he looked back at it. It was impossible to save such building. 

"Time to go." Jaemin spoke without looking at his friend. He stretched out his hand so the younger would hold it. "Jisung." 

"Oh, right." The taller mumbled, looking away from the school. He held the prince's hand tightly and after he was sure they could go, Jaemin snapped his fingers and the world disappeared. They were surrounded by darkness for a few seconds, until Jeno's castle appeared before their eyes. They let go of each other and the raven haired vampire started making his way towards the entrance where the four guards were waiting. He felt his heart racing for some reason, maybe because of the fact that he killed two vampires for the first time in his life or maybe because he was happy the mission went well.  

"The prince is waiting for you in the throne hall." One of them told Jaemin but before he could walk past him, he was stopped by another one, who placed his hand on his chest. The raven haired slowly looked up at the man. 

"Who is he?" The guard who stopped him glared at Jisung because he noticed his scent. 

"My friend. Don't worry, he's with me." 

"Of course he is with you." The first guard hissed and stepped forward, making Jaemin stumble. "But how do we know you aren't going to betray us?" 

"I just killed two of my people and you think I'm doing it because I'm bored?" The raven haired vampire hissed and was about to push him away when he saw a tall and slim silhouette appearing out of the shadows. Jungwoo walked past the guards and stopped in front of the two. "Miss Kim was there as well and I managed to kill her too." 

"Really?" The orange haired vampire asked and raised a brow as his eyes landed on Jisung. "And why is he here as well?" 

"Because he helped me." Jaemin replied coldly. "I killed both of them and he helped me burn the school so the police wouldn't interfere." 

"Wait you burned the school?" Jungwoo widened his eyes. When the two vampires just looked at each other before back to him, he gasped. "For real?" A flame of excitement appeared in his eyes that turned golden. His pink and soft looking lips formed his lips.  

"Yeah." The prince replied shortly. It wasn't something to be proud of, because he felt wrong that he killed those two, but again, he had no choice. He couldn't let his mom do something terrible with his life.   

Jungwoo must have noticed his hesitance because he didn't say anything else. That smile was still on his face, but he brushed his hand across the prince's back. "Come." He told Jisung as well, without actually glancing behind, and led the way inside the castle. "Do you know anything about Sungchan?" It was obvious that the question was addressed to the younger. 

"I don't know anything about what is happening actually." Jisung's deep voice rang in his ears as he spoke. He really didn't know anything and Jaemin felt bad that he left without explaining anything to him that time. 

"I see." Jungwoo mumbled. 

The trio walked up the same staircase that led him outside that morning, but they stopped at the first floor. That place was silent and empty, as if no one lived there. There were no maids on the hallways and no guards at every corner and no noble men trying to make the king like them. It was peaceful in a way and Jaemin liked it.
