Jaemin kept on glancing at the vampire that was walking in his right. Jeno was happily sipping the blood from a straw they received with the bag, as if he didn't really mind being hunted for money. It shocked the raven haired vampire to the core, because his roommate was so chill about the whole situation. Even Jaemin was more scared for that guy's life than Jeno was for his own. 

"Are you really relaxed in this situation?" Jaemin finally decided to ask and stopped from walking, making the brunette do the same thing. "Like, my whole dynasty is after you and you're walking really relaxed in this world." The prince said and jumped on a fallen tree. He sat down, his legs swinging by the edge. He also took a sip from the human blood he bought from Yangyang earlier, but his eyes didn't leave Jeno's face. His roommate was leaning by a tree in front of him, his dark eyes being glued on Jaemin's face. "This is really serious. Imagine if they find out I knew." 

"They won't." Jeno finally replied and looked away. "My parents will find me before that would happen." He then sighed loudly and ran a hand through his hair. "You won't say anything right?" He then asked Jaemin, who coughed a bit of blood on the tree he was sitting on. 

"What? Of course not! We had an agreement after all." 

"That wasn't an agreement Jaemin."Jeno chuckled and met his eyes. "I know there is no detective from your dynasty. Like I told you before, stop lying and acting because you're bad at both." His reply made Jaemin clench his free fist. He really thought this time he wouldn't catch him, but guess Jeno was way too smart. 

"Then why did you accept? You refused first, but after I told you about that, you accepted." The raven haired vampire took another sip from the blood. The taste was sweet and fresh. It brought him some memories. It really was a long time since he drank human blood and he had to admit it, he missed it a bit too much. "It's pointless to lie right?" 

Jeno chuckled and nodded. "I'll know you lie anyway so just tell the truth. It's easier this way." 

Jaemin nodded, his legs swinging on the edge of the fallen tree. He had to look at the blood bag as he spoke, because he was a bit ashamed that he came to this conclusion. He also didn't want to admit it either, since they were both supposed to be enemies. "I-I wanted to be your friend actually." Jaemin said and suddenly the red liquid became really interesting. His ego was so big that he couldn't look at Jeno at all. "But I knew you would refuse, so I thought that lying would be a better option." 

Without looking at his roommate, Jaemin heard as he jumped on the fallen tree and dropped himself next to him. He felt Jeno's shoulder touching his. Their thighs were also touching and he couldn't believe himself either. If someone would have told him he would really want to become friends with a vampire from the rival dynasty, Jaemin was sure he would have punched the person in the face, or even worse, he would have killed them. 

"Why though?" Jeno asked and when Jaemin glanced at him, he saw him drinking the blood. His eyes were staring at a red tree that appeared behind some bloomed trees. 

"I don't know." The raven haired chuckled and took a sip from the blood. "I really don't know. I just want to be your friend." 

Jeno snorted but nodded. "I mean I guess we can be friends." Their eyes locked for a few seconds before Jaemin looked away and cleared his throat. "But, if my parents find out I'm here you'll pretend you hate me and stuff. They'll be here soon, I can feel it, so don't get too attached." 

His response made Jaemin roll his eyes. "I'm not that kind of person who gets attached easily, so don't worry." As he said that, he jumped from the tree and looked up. "We should go, it's already afternoon." 

Jeno nodded and let himself fall from that height. He landed on his feet, without getting hurt. "They'll know we left right?" 

"Most probably." Jaemin nodded and started walking towards the school.
