When Jaemin finally woke up, he was welcomed by a wave of pain at the back of his head. He blinked few times until he was kind of able to see what was in front of him. The pain was deaf, sign he wasn't healing at all. Something warm made his neck wet and despite not wanting to think of it, the vampire knew it was his own blood. Why wasn't he healing? What happened to his powers? 

"You won't heal." A soft voice spoke somewhere in the darkness of the room he woke up in. "I poisoned you, so you can't heal." The same voice spoke and a chuckle echoed all around the dark place. Jaemin scanned the whole room. There were three small windows close to the ceiling from which a bit of light was entering the space. A wide mirror was placed in front of him, broken, shattered in pieces and dirty. In rest, the room was empty and filled with dust that was floating in the air. "You must feel so betrayed that your so called friend left you to be kidnapped." 

So he didn't know, Jaemin thought and stopped the urge to smile like a devil. Instead of that, he kept on looking around, terrified, lost, mad and angry by the fact that Jeno betrayed him and he got kidnapped by his enemy. A tear left his eyes, warm like the blood he felt on his neck. That's what the vampire who held him hostage wanted, to see him terrified and lost.  

"W-Where am I?" Jaemin stuttered and stopped looking around. "Where did you take me?" He cried the words and just then, the vampire decided to show up. He was slim and despite the dim light, his orange hair was shining in the darkness. His eyes were glowing and when he finally reached the raven haired, Jaemin recognized him as the detective from that day who seemed so dead. So this was Jungwoo. 

"Don't worry." Jungwoo knelt so he would be at the same level as him. His hand grabbed Jaemin's chin and a smirk formed his lips. "You'll see your family once they will decide to listen to us. Your filthy family can't rule forever after all." As he said that, his claws showed up, almost piercing through Jaemin's skin. Another tear left his eye as he kept on looking at the vampire hopelessly. "Poor thing, you really thought he was going to be your friend for real." Jungwoo laughed and stood up. "Jeno is too smart to befriend the enemy." 

His response made Jaemin scoff and he wanted to hit himself for being so stupid. Still, he could act annoyed by the whole situation. 

"What was that?" Jungwoo asked with suspicion. "That scoff." He slightly hit Jaemin in the ribs with his pointy shoe. 

"Once my parents find out where I am do you think they won't start a war?" His eyes turned silver when he looked back at Jungwoo. A small smile formed his lips before he chuckled. "They will kill everyone just because you kidnapped me to try and scare them." His smile soon disappeared, being replaced by a deadly glare. 

"We have an army, don't you worry." Jungwoo backed away and ran  a hand through his shiny hair. 

"But will you have a king when the time comes?" 

"What did you just say?" Jungwoo hissed and suddenly made his way back to Jaemin. He crouched down and grabbed the vampire by his neck, ending up pinning him by the wall behind. Because of the sudden movement, he hit his head by the wall and hissed in pain. "Do not even dare talk about our king." 

Jaemin then showed a smile. "Does he know I'm here?" 

"Of course." Jungwoo's lips formed a crazy smirk before he let go of the prince. "He is more than excited to have the enemy in his castle especially because his own son tricked him." While he was speaking, the tall vampire reached a door. "You will meet him soon, little prince." Jungwoo chuckled before he opened the door and left the dark room. 

The sound of the door closing echoed all around the room. It then left Jaemin in that deadly silence, all alone. The raven haired felt more than weak and because he was tied, he couldn't wipe the drops of sweat that were falling down his chin and face. His whole head was hurting and he yelped in pain when he moved a bit so he would be in a more comfortable position.
