Renjun cleared his throat after Jeno was finally out of the room. He almost forgot why he came there, but then he remembered that he wanted to talk to Jaemin in private after all that happened. The tension was in the air, mostly because of Jeno's words.

"So you two kissed." Jaemin mumbled as he shifted awkwardly on the window sill. He wasn't looking at the blonde haired vampire at all.

"It's not as if you didn't kiss him." Renjun replied and started approaching him. "Look, I came here to apologize. I didn't have time that day, when we got you out of here." The vampire stopped a meter away from the prince and started playing with a bracelet he was wearing. He still felt a bit bad, because he lied and all, but since Jaemin no longer seemed angry, he thought it was all good.

"It's fine, don't worry." The raven haired young prince finally looked at him and smiled. "You had no choice after all." There was an awkward silence between the two for some moments, with both of them just standing there and staring at each other. It was as if they didn't know each other and Renjun hated it. "So, how come you died?"

"Funny." The older scoffed and joined him on the window sill. He hugged his knees to his chest and exhaled loudly before meeting Jaemin's dark eyes that resembled two precious stones. "I tried to act brave but failed. The King was faster and he stabbed me."

Jaemin flinched a bit, as if he was imagining the scene. Was he really that worried? Because he looked worried. A part of him hoped that he wasn't the reason his prince came there, not Jeno, but from the way Jaemin was looking at him, Renjun was quick to realize he was the reason he ran away from home. A lump in his throat suddenly formed, slowly putting pressure all around his neck.

"I thought Jeno killed you because you two were always arguing." The raven haired chuckled. "I'm glad he didn't."

"Right, because you would have been way too disappointed in him." They stared at each other for a few moments, but it was a peaceful silence, not an awkward one. "Do you like him that much?" Renjun found himself asking.

It took Jaemin a while to reply. He looked away from the blonde haired, outside. He didn't know it himself either and it was obvious because they didn't meet Jeno too long ago. The raven haired kept on looking outside, unable to say anything. Was his question that hard?

"Come on, I don't think the question is that hard." Renjun spoke and faked a light chuckle.

"It is, actually." When he replied, Jaemin finally looked back at him. "I-I don't know how it happened. I really don't know. Maybe it was because I found him a distraction from you when we were still at school, but then I realized I actually started liking him." They both nodded as if they were agreeing with what the prince just said. "But you like him as well."

Renjun scoffed at his remark. Did he really like him? Or was it all his imagination? When they kissed, he did feel his heart race for a bit and his face was all warm and pink, but could he call that a crush? It wasn't the same as he felt when he was together with Jaemin. The feeling was different.

"It's not the same." Renjun finally replied. It was his turn to look away.

The trees were all green, but the sun was hidden because of the grey clouds that looked like a really fluffy blanket on the sky. It was going to rain soon and the wind agreed to that because it slammed the window shut, startling the two boys.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean it's not the same from when I fell for you. I don't know how to explain it, but it's different for sure." When he said that, he looked at Jaemin. He wanted to make the prince realize that what he was saying in those moments were real and he was not inventing it. "Remember when I asked you if we could get back together and you refused?" That day felt like it happened yesterday, but when Jaemin nodded, the vampire sighed in relief. "That hurt way more than I expected." Renjun chuckled bitterly. "I guess I'm still not over you."
