Jeno dropped himself on the giant throne made of silver. He softly ran his fingers across the cold surface while a smile formed his lips. His eyes lazily looked around the throne room, down to the lords that served the crown. Two days have already passed since the royal couple was found dead in their own home and people were more than outraged. They knew who was responsible for the crime, the enemy, and they wanted to take one royal member from the Sun Dynasty so they would know how was it to crumble. Jeno had to admit one thing; the whole situation brought him joy. By killing his parents, he will be able to get the revenge he wanted to have for so long.

"Your highness." A vampire, that once served as his father's second in command, knelt at the bottom of the marble stairs that led to the throne. He bowed his head and looked at the floor the whole time he spoke. "How did the enemy enter our territory? We made sure to have guards at the border."

The brunette tilted his head and shifted a bit in the throne. It still felt uncomfortable to be there, but he kind of enjoyed it, especially after knowing he was the killer of his parents. He rested his elbows on his knees, an image totally inappropriate for a king, but he didn't care.

"Why are you asking me?" Jeno asked coldly and allowed his claws out. His eyes turned silver and a growl slowly left his ribcage. "Aren't you in charge of protecting the border? Are you perhaps.." He paused a bit. "You're not thinking what I'm thinking right?"

"W-What do you mean, your highness?" The man stuttered, sign he was afraid, which only made Jeno's smile grow wider.

"You are doubting me. I see how it is." The young vampire pushed himself up and straightened his back. In a slow yet intimidating walk, he made his way down the marble stairs. He stopped in front of the man that was still kneeling. "Do you think I killed them?" Jeno grabbed his chin with his claws, so he would look up and not at the floor. "I brought that bastard here to make them proud. We could have had them if he wouldn't have murdered them and run away."

"M-My apolo..."

The lord wasn't able to finish his sentence as a silver blade pierced him from behind. The sharp end made its way out of his body, filled with blood that did not seem appealing to anyone. The man's eyes went wide. He knew he was done. No one could bring him back.

"Does anyone else doubt my words?" Jeno asked and looked at the other ten lords. No one as looking at him due to their fear. A smile formed his lips while he met Renjun's dark eyes. The blonde haired vampire was also smirking. He was excited as hell. Jeno watched him take out the sword from the lord with disgust. "My blood built this nation so you should all show respect. My parents were murdered with cold blood; another example that we cannot trust those filthy vampires at all." He stared at the dead vampire as he hit the marble floor with a deaf sound. Right away, the red liquid made a puddle around him. "Still, no one said we can't destroy them."

At his words, the ten vampires lifted their heads and met his eyes. They all had their claws out along with those red eyes of theirs which made him chuckle.

"Let us get our revenge once and for all." Jeno announced and turned around on his heel. He made his way up the stairs, back to the silver throne, and sat down.

This is how his new life will begin, with no parents who would control and abuse him without reason. He had the power in his hands and by giving his people this kind of hope, he was sure he could destroy the Sun Dynasty.

Mark and Chenle were chilling in the younger male's room when someone stormed inside and slammed the door shut. Jaehyun made sure to lock it and when he turned around, the raven haired young vampire hunter knew something happened.

"The prince came back." Jaehyun announced and stepped closer to the two. "He told Miss Kim there are vampire hunters in the building. She already started searching the whole place one hour ago. You two need to leave right now."

"What?" Mark sat up and closed the book he was holding few moments earlier. His brows furrowed in both confusion and anger. He knew from the start they shouldn't have trusted Jaemin, but he tried to understand Jeno's intentions. Did the vampire know his new friend gave them away? "What else did he say?"

"That they have three traitors who are vampires. Jeno, Donghyuck and apparently, Renjun. Miss Kim still thinks I'm one of theirs, but when Jaemin mentioned the vampire hunters, he looked at me. That look, he knows I'm not a vampire." Jaehyun ran a hand through his soft looking hair and sighed in frustration. "He also seems strange for some reason. I don't know how to explain it, but even the principal begged for forgiveness."

"What the fuck?" Chenle mumbled and stood up. "You're going to Taeyong right? He has to know we're as good as dead here."

When Jaehyun nodded, Mark realized how fucked up they were.

"Where should we go?" The blonde haired asked and also stood up. He made his way to one of Chenle's drawers and opened it, revealing a nice collection of silver weapons.

"Go to Jeno." The older replied and when Mark gave him a shocked look, he glared at him. "We are in their hands, you two know it already. We can't fight them without him and his people. Besides, I already notified Donghyuck. He knows you're coming."

"You have got to be kidding me." Mark face palmed himself. That blonde haired vampire was the last one he wanted to meet. "Why him?"

"Because I didn't know Renjun was with them."

"He's not that bad." A soft voice suddenly rang behind him which made Mark flinch. The person chuckled, but when he looked behind, he saw no one. "I mean, he kinda is crazy, but he wouldn't hurt a cute vampire hunter like you."

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Mark hissed at him and slightly backed away the moment the vampire became visible. Donghyuck was wearing black clothes, in contrast with his blonde hair and when he met his eyes, he smiled.

"Jeno told me to make sure you two get out of here alive so I had no choice." The vampire explained and pointed at the silver weapons. "You won't need them. Here." His smile grew wider as he stretched out his hands. The whole time, his eyes were on Mark, which made the vampire hunter glare at him. "You need to hold my hand if you want out of here."

"Take care of them. We're all in your care right now." Jaehyun spoke.

"And we'll make sure you get repaid." Donghyuck replied. "Please hold my hands. We don't have a whole day."

Chenle hesitated a bit, but did what he was told in the end which brought Mark no choice but to hold his hand as well. The vampire hunter sighed when their hands touched and the vampire tightened his grip.

"Good luck getting out of here." The vampire spoke right before darkness surrounded the trio. The good part of it was that it didn't last long, only three seconds. The next time he blinked, he found himself in front of a castle. Mark stared up at the wide structure with his mouth wide open. "Welcome to the Moon Castle." Donghyuck spoke in a really proud way as he let go of their hands. "You'll be safe here."
