Jeno was walking around the castle. It was morning, barely nine, but the sun was up already, sending down some warm rays that touched his pale skin. Renjun was in his right, silent as a cat, his footsteps barely being noticed in the grass from the field that surrounded the grey castle. None of them spoke, mostly because they didn't have a topic to talk about and the prince was way too comfortable staying silent and just admiring his home.

They already had the ceremony for his parents, who were burned in silver flames, two meters tall, so their souls would forever live the land of the living. Jeno could finally say his life was becoming brighter, despite having new problems with the other dynasty. Miss Kim was almost out of the picture, unless the king decided to spare her, but from what Renjun told him about Jaemin's family the night before, he could already tell that the woman would be dead soon. As for Jaemin, he should call him soon. He wanted to know how his ex roommate was doing back home. Was he healthy again after being poisoned? He hoped he was.

"Have you met with the vampire hunters yet?" Renjun finally decided to ask, after so many minutes of complete silence. When Jeno looked down at him, he saw him staring with his golden eyes.

"No. They got here a few days ago from what Donghyuck told me." The taller replied, his eyes not looking away from the blonde haired vampire. "I heard Miss Kim searched the whole school for them."

"Most probably Jaemin told her so she would have some hope left that she would be saved." Renjun looked away first, up at the sky, while his lips formed a smile. A proud smile, Jeno realized quickly. He stopped, which made the prince do the same thing. "What's your next move, Jeno?" Renjun looked at him again.

Jeno didn't really know what his next move would be. It was all on spot. If he was in the mood to kill people, then he would; but if he wasn't then he would just play for a while. The tall vampire shrugged his shoulders, which wasn't a response that pleased Renjun too much. The shorter sighed in annoyance.

"What am I supposed to say if I don't know myself?" The brunette hissed at him. "Stop being a bitch if you don't want to end up on a spear."

Renjun chuckled and rolled his golden eyes. "You don't have spears and that won't kill me anyway."

Jeno showed his claws which cut through the air, until they arrived few centimeters away from Renjun's pretty eyes. The vampire did not flinch, but the corner of his pink lips went a bit up. His pale hand went lower, until his claws grabbed Renjun's chin softly, without cutting that pretty skin of his.

"I can always buy some just in case you won't behave." The prince showed a smirk that did not surprise the blonde haired at all. In fact, it amused Renjun.

"Funny." The older hissed and pushed his hand away. "Now, like seriously, you have no ideas?"

"I have plenty of ideas Renjun." Jeno replied and dropped himself in the soft grass. He looked up and patted the spot next to him. "Sit."

The blonde haired shook his head. "I'm good, thanks."

Not looking away from him, Jeno smiled and before Renjun could react, his hand grabbed his wrist, ending up pulling the shorter down. The blonde haired stumbled by the sudden force that dragged him down and fell right on the prince. Their faces were centimeters away only and Renjun's free hand was resting on Jeno's chest. If this boy that was so close to him would have been a human, Renjun would have ate him alive; but he wasn't.

"Piece of shit." The older whispered before he pushed himself away. "What are you smirking at? I told you I was good." He complained when he saw the prince's proud smirk.

"I told you to sit."

"And I told you I was good."

"Do I look like I care about your opinion?" Jeno laid down in the grass with his arms beneath his head. He closed his eyes so the sun wouldn't hurt them.
