Renjun was roughly pushed into the wall by the queen. Her pale and bony hand was about to grab his neck, but he dodged her claws and hit her in the ribs. The woman hissed and attacked him again, but he was quicker and dodged her claws again. She was strong, but he knew too well that was only a small part of her powers. He didn't even want to see her true form. Renjun backed away from her, ignoring the fact that he was heading towards the bed. Was that vampire even alive? He didn't seem so.

"What did you two monsters do to my son?" The queen shouted so loud that Renjun was sure her husband would suddenly wake up, but he didn't. His eyes remained closed.

"I just told you. Nothing yet." The young vampire dodged another strike and made sure to hit her in the ribs again, but this time with his foot. His sudden hit made the woman stumble and hit the shelves with force, but when her silver eyes looked at him, he saw how angry she was. If he was going to get out of there alive, then he was either lucky or he actually knew how to fight with stronger vampires and Jeno was wrong about him this whole time.

"Do you think I will believe my enemy?" The woman suddenly laughed like a maniac. "Child, I don't trust my own kids most of the time." She was about to attack him again, but Renjun didn't dodge or fight back. On the contrary, he did the exact opposite and reached the bed. The king was breathing, but so soft that it was barely visible. Still, he placed his claws by his neck. "Don't you think of slitting his throat." Something in her voice broke and when he looked back at her, he saw a glimpse of fear for two seconds.

"Why not? If you put him to sleep then you must hate him or something." Renjun pierced the soft skin of his neck and chuckled. In his surprise, the queen didn't move. Even if he wasn't looking at the sleeping man, he felt the warm liquid touch his fingers. "I can't believe you still love him after all you did to him." Renjun spoke in a soft tone while he stared at her. "Why aren't you protecting him?"

"What's your plan?" She hissed.

"What's yours?" Renjun asked back and laughed. "Why would you possibly want to be a god to vampires? Does the title of a queen seem too low for you?"

"Let go of him. He can't even fight back." The woman made a step forward, which only made Renjun tighten his grip on his neck. So this is how he was going to play with that filthy bitch. "So Jieun was right. You do love him." The blonde haired mumbled. "Too bad I don't give a fuck about your feelings." He made sure to smile at her before slitting her husband's throat right in front of her. Blood splashed on his clothes and face, but when he looked at the king, he couldn't help but feel so proud of himself. Not only did he kill him, but he managed to humiliate the queen as well.

Renjun took his hand off and started laughing loudly. He wiped the warm blood all over his face when he looked back at the frozen woman. The queen was no longer glaring, as her eyes were glued on her husband that was now dead. It was her fault after all and this was her paying the price. The blonde haired vampire approached her. She was now on her knees so he crouched down to reach her level. With a bloody hand, he softly grabbed her chin, making sure she was going to feel the warm liquid on her skin.

"You monster." The woman whispered right before she attacked him again, this time taking Renjun by surprise because he couldn't move fast enough to escape. He was roughly pinned to the floor, with that mad woman chocking him to death. "You fucking monster!" She yelled and her claws pierced through his flesh which made Renjun yelp. "Why did you kill him?"

Renjun was sure he would have died right there if someone else wouldn't have hit her in the head with an empty glass of wine. The queen yelped but loosened the grip on his neck and fell off of him. This brought him few seconds to stand up and bump into Donghyuck.
